Maui Lover
Sending this review from Sugar Beach. The condos are great for the money and you are right on the water and the beach is very private. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The condo is large and spacious and so quiet, we have yet to hear anyone in the building. Can't wait to return again to Sugar Beach Resort. |

Loved the Sugar Beach Resort!
Overall, I would recommend Sugar Beach. Our condo was fully-furnished and well-equipped, almost like not leaving home, except fthe weather was much better and we were right on the beach! The beach right in front has a lot of rocks, but there are plenty of beaches, in either direction, to chose from.
Or you can use the pool at the resort, which is meticulouly maintained. The grounds and the landscaping were very well kept .
This is a nice condo complex, very private and relaxing.
We really liked staying in Kihei. It is an easy drive to Lahaina and Wailea, but Kihei has it's own special laid-back feeling. Good selection of restaurants and shopping.

Amazing view
We had one of the oceanfront rooms and the view was amazing. I've been to Hawaii six times and this is by far the best view we had. Everywhere we looked there was ocean. Not bad for less than $130 a night. |

Maui sand and sun
My neice and I stayed on floor room ocean front, and had I been able to kiss who ever booked our room I would have. We are about to return in a couple weeks, and i already know it will be as beautiful as it was the first time. The grounds are outstanding, and what can you say...it's Maui at her best. If I could buy one of those condo's I would do it without hesitation. I have searched for great locations and Sugar beach is by far the best layout out there. |

Maui is the Best!
My husband and I have stayed at Sugar Beach nine times now and cannot wait to go back. Most of the times we stayed at the same condo on the fist floor. It is most amazing. It is actually the condo that is shown on the picture gallery. We just love the condo and the owners. They are great.
True the beach out front is corally, but you can sit and watch the turtles bob their head (they are eating seaweed). It is so fun!
We haven't seen the whales, yet, but that is next. They say you can sit on the lanai and watch whales and their calves. How exciting!
As you can see, we love Maui and especially Sugar Beach Resort.

Best vacation for sure and GREAT RESORT
My cousin and I went to Maui, Kihei to be exact and stayed at Sugar Beach Resort, the late check-in was a little weird but besides that the Resort was AMAZING, your in your own little condo by the pool on the beach it was absolutely wonderful, it was the first vacation that i definitely was not ready to leave! There was so many things to do on the Island, we did snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, luau, shopping, a helicopter tour, explored the mountains and beaches ( including a nude beach), and ate and drank our hearts desires. I wish I could move there it truly was AMAZING! |

Had the best time ever
Had a great time here. We hated to leave. The lady's in the gift/tour's shop were the best.Our housekeeper was very nice I dont think that their was anythin that went wrong. Look forward to coming back here again.. |

FAVORITE PLACE TO STAY
THE OCEAN FRONT CONDO I RENT IS WONDERFUL. THE VIEW & THE BEACH MY HUSBAND & I HAVE STAYED THERE 6 TIMES FOR A MONTH EACH TIME. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR.THE CONDO WAS WELL EQUIPPED. THE OWNER TAKES GOOD CARE OF IT. HOPE TO BE BACK SOON. |

On the beach and great views
We head to Hawaii every few years, and this time we wanted something reasonable and on the beach. Our agent, Daniel, steered us towards the Sugar Beach Resort, and I must stay he made the right recommendation!
We picked a 1-bedroom Oceanfront, and received one on the 5th floor. It was a nicely-furnished unit with a great view. We spent a fair bit of time on the lanai with cocktails in hand. The Sugar Beach Resort was a great starting point for us to really explore the island, from Kapalua to Makena, and even Hana. The beach in front is pretty average, though it is a nice long stretch to walk along.
All in all, we had a great time. We really appreciate Daniel's knowledge of the islands, and look forward to working with him and Great Hawaii Vacations again. |

We were expecting much more
Don't get me wrong. For what we paid, it was a good vacation. We usually stay at hotels like the Wailea Marriott, but we decided to try a condo this time around because we were going to Maui as part of a family reunion. We got a really good price for a one bedroom oceanfront room. The view was awesome. I just wish the place had more amenities. I'll probably never stay in a condo resort again, but if you're looking for good deals and the ability to cook your own meals, condos are a good way to go. |
