What People Are Saying:

Ritz Carlton Kapalua-What A Hotel!

We were recommended to Ritz Carlton Kapalua by Greathawaiivacations.com. We were not disapointed. The beauty of the area coupled with the service cannot be surpassed. We spent most of our time just drinking mai tais and hanging out in the pool. What a relaxing time...... Can't wait to go back.....
Elaine, Pasadena , CA

Breaking away from our norm...

My wife and I are big fans of Maui but have generally stayed in Kaanapali. We were absolutely delighted that we chose to stay at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua. We had a suite on the 8th floor with perfect views of the sunsets and the perfectly manicured grounds. The tiered pool that seemed to flow infinately into the ocean. Food and Service continually exceeded our expectations. And, we were still on Maui, able to visit many of our favorite island places. Thanks Great Hawaii Vacations for, what you have called, an excellent 'vacation in paradise.'
Mark Ritter, Brigantine, NJ

Best vacation ever!

We had a great time in Maui thanks to everyone at Great Hawaii Vacations. They really put together the best package possible and saved us a lot of money over trying to do things ourselves. Moreover, they were extremely accomodating in changing our dates without any trouble. I can't thank them enough. The Ritz-Carlton is definately my favorite hotel worldwide, hands down. Beyond the top of the line room and beautiful views, it was the concierge that really put them over the top. These guys were able to get us reservations at the busiest restaurant in town for the 4th of July, right on the beach to watch the fireworks presentation while everyone else waited hours to even get in... I still can't believe it. They also booked all of our activities and gave us recommendations for all of the best places to visit. Overall, there isnt' one thing I would change, except staying longer of course. For anyone looking to vacation in Maui, I don't think you can look anywhere else than the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua. Again, great trip, and we can't wait to see you again soon.
Brian Blades, Valencia, CA

Heaven on Earth

My wife and I had the pleasure of a 7 day stay at the Ritz Carlton/Kapalua recently. From the well-manicured landscape, to the updated rooms, to the beautiful pool area, impeccable service, and accomadating personell, the stay was truly heaven on earth. We cannot wait to return....
Karl Scherer, plano, texas

A Vacation to Remember

A true fan of Maui I had never stayed in Kapalua. The Ritz Carlton Kapalua is a perfect 'piece of paradise.' We had a beautiful suite with awesome views of the property and the ocean. The staff were always professional and the food superb. We were central to many of the activies and restaurants that we enjoy on Maui, such as the Gazeebo Restaurant at Napili Shores and Kimo's in Lahaina Town. Our agent, Kavan, assured us of that we would not be disappointed with this choice and he lived up to his word. Thanks Great Hawaii Vacations and The Ritz Carlton Kapalua for a vacation to remember!
Kevin Turner, Atlanta, GA

Ritz Carlton Kapalua is nice, but.....

Don't get me wrong, the Ritz Carlton Kapalua is very nice. We stayed in one of the residential and it was more than what we expected. In that sense, we recommend it. But the shortcomings need to be discussed as well. First of all, the beach access is not very good. You need to walk over 200 yards or so to get there. Secondly, what's up with the $25 daily resort fee? We were already spending $600 plus a night. On top of that we now need to pay $25 per day? Why not just include it in the rate?
Daniel Silver, Thousand Oaks, CA

Beautiful resort!

the Ritz Carlton was just what I was looking for. I called Great Hawaii Vacations in desperate need of some RNR. I was lucky enough to talk with a sweet young lady, Patti Taylor .. she really listened to my needs. The pool at the Ritz is amazing, wonderful poolside Mai Tais. Beautiful sunsets from our lanai. I would recommend staying on the Club Level, the food in the Club lounge is heavenly. Thank you Great Hawaii Vacations, we'll be back!
