But since the reservations were last minute, getting something there was not possible. We loved Maui as always and will return again. Thanks

Firstly, your service in every way was professional and the staff very courteous. I will certaily use it again. The hotel Outrigger East was for the most part good for the price, quiet and location was first rate. The room was very small, the kitchenette was no more than microwave and sink in a corner of the room. A few bugs in the cupboards. The bathroom was even smaller, had to actually close the door to use the facilities. There was a fairly large hole in the wall near the front window hidden from view by the curtain. On the plus side, the staff was courteous and quick to respond to requests for assistance, and the view was excellent. All in all had a great vacation.

Aloha Daniel and Gail, I wanted to let you know that we returned yesterday from our trip and things went without a hitch. Every reservation was as planned and everyone was so friendly and helpful. A few comments:

1. Seven hours and one minute from wheels up to touchdown from Denver to Honolulu aboard a Boeing 777 (2-5-2 seating in economy). Transportation to and from the airport was right on target. Our first time on United in a long time and we were pleased.
2. The Hyatt Regency Waikiki was terrific, right on the beach, and the room was not a city view as noted on our reservation, but an ocean-view 23rd floor delight! We even had dinner and wine on the balcony Friday night. That place is something else-1,230 rooms, great restaurants, lots of neat shops, and a terrific location.
3. The Pearl Harbor tour, including the Arizona memorial and the tour of the Missouri, was set up through Barefoot, and was great.
4. The Ritz Carlton Kapalua is lush and plush-its grand lobby spaces remind me of the old South in some respects with wide arched openings to the outside, and lovely art work. By the way, it will be closed July 2-December 15, 2007, for a $95-million renovation that will, among other things, convert some of the spaces into equity condos.
5. We played the Bay course Monday and the Plantation course Tuesday and they are wonderful courses with incredible views.
6. The Hyatt Regency at Lahaina (I think) is a neat place-right on the ocean. We attended a luau there Tuesday night. I might stay there if we went again because as nice as the Ritz and the golf courses were, I doubt if I would carry my clubs again because they are such a pain to travel with, and if I was not going to play golf, Lahaina is closer to the action.
7. Whales were plentiful and the whale watch we went on Sunday morning from Lahaina (Seaview, slip 11) aboard a Zodiac inflatable raft with a firm bottom is the way to go. We also saw whales from our room at the Ritz and from the roadside as we traveled.
8. The Ritz breakfast buffet is great, particularly so because it was included in the package-otherwise, about $40 per person. I fell in love with the fresh pineapple and papaya-Bev became addicted to the eggs Benedict and the waffles.
9. Dinners in Maui were at Vinos, Pineapple Grill, Mama's Fish House, luau at the Hyatt Regency Lahaina, and the Banyan Tree (on the Ritz grounds). All were great and all were expensive, particularly because our son and his wife enjoy good wines and the wine lists were extensive (excluding the luau) and we hate for them to drink by themselves.
10. Seven hours and 50 minutes from Kona to Chicago aboard a 777.
11. It rained parts of Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but cleared up in the afternoons. The temps were wonderful-80 days, 68 nights.

Our vacation in Hawaii was wonderful!! The ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Tower was beautiful and we felt pampered from the second we arrived. Eric was so helpful in the planning and no matter how many times I called him, he was always gracious and was able to answer any questions that I had.

I look forward to visiting Hawaii again - I hope in the not too distant future - and I will always come back to Great Hawaii Vacations to make the arrangements!

I wanted to send you a note to thank you for the wonderful job you did booking our vacation at the Outrigger Keauhou Beach in Kona!! We loved the resort and you gave us a great description of the property. (Great outdoor areas, the rooms are a bit dated as you explained). When booking this trip you took the time to go over a number of properties and I really appreciated it. We also appreciated the upgrade from Partial Ocean View to Ocean View - we had a great view of the ocean which was so nice to wake up to every morning.

I was a former travel consultant for 23 years and got out of the business in 1996 so I know what is expected of an agent and you went above and beyond in helping me find the right property. I've been to Maui and Kaui many times before, but never Kona and I appreciate all of the information you provided us since this was a new location for my husband and I. A lot has changed since I've been away from travel so your help was wonderful. I definitely would love to go back to Kona!!

I just wanted to thank you for finding us our accommodations at the Poipu Kai Resort for our holiday. I'm really glad that you recommended this property. The unit that we had was great! As you had promised, there was lots of space. We had a ground floor unit, and the kids loved being able to go in and out on their own into the garden. It was fun for them (and us!) to have chickens in our yard that came up quite close to the patio! There was even a porta-crib set up in the bedroom and covers on the electrical outlets. I really liked being located between Shipwreck and Poipu Beach Parks. The paths heading down to the ocean were fun for our 6-year old. We also spent a lot of time at Poipu Beach Park, where the 'baby beach' was perfect for our 15-month old daughter. I also appreciated having laundry in our unit.

Thanks again so much for your help! We really enjoyed our trip.

We are back from Hawaii and there are no words that can explain the beauty and the enjoyment of Hawaii. It was the best trip in our 30 years of vacations. Hawaii was a great place to spend our 30th anniversary. The Maui Prince Hotel on Makena Beach was beautiful and the luau at the hotel was well worth the time and money. On Oahu we stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki On The Beach.We will go back for sure. Everything you booked for us went off without a hitch. Thank you so much. The family had a wonderful vacation. The Hololani was very nice. The view from the lanai was spectacular. We had coffee and whale watching every morning. Too bad we had to leave after 9 nights. Our room at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel was ok. The grounds and location in the resort was the best part. We loved the snorkeling at Black Rock and access to the pool, beach, restaurants and shopping. Leaving was very difficult. Thanks again for finding the Hololani for us. We would definitely go there again.

Great vacation, one of the best we've ever had. The Wailea Ekahi was comfortable, clean and the location was beautiful. Getting a chance to be in Maui means you don't have to do much else to make the whole experience wonderful. For Canadians, getting to surf for 5 days out of 11 in January is also a sufficiently rare experience to be memorable on its own.

We stayed at the Sheraton Kauai Resort . The room was very nice and the view was superb! The staff was very friendly. Our "resort fee" was comped through you guys. Good thing, too -- I would have felt ripped off if I had to pay it!
