Henry Clay's Rotisserie is one of the only fine dining restaurants in Lanai City and is the signature eatery at the historic Hotel Lanai. The hotel was originally built as lodging for Dole Plantation executives to stay on the island in the early 20th century and has retained its Plantation style era d�cor and nostalgic casual island elegance.

The comfortable and popular bistro serves French country cuisine with a New Orleans twist and is usually full of activity. Chef Henry Clay Richardson is a native of the Gulf Coast city and presents his culinary celebrations of Cajun influenced items with fresh Hawaiian ingredients. Spicy Rajun Cajun Clay's shrimp, the "Almost Grandma's Gumbo," or herb marinated rotisserie chicken are some of the most recommended items, but also consider the kiawe-grilled rib eye steak and Penn Cove mussels.

The Terrace Dining Room in the Lodge at Koele incorporates leather armchairs, damask tablecloths, and an antique collection in the Great Hall next door. The Terrace is located next to the Lodge's Formal Dining Room and looks out over the hotel's stunning English gardens and the pine forests beyond. Ihilani restaurant is located on the lower lobby level of the gorgeous Four Seasons Resort at Manele Bay. The bistro's name means "heavenly splendor" and the dining experience does not disappoint, offering romantic dinners of contemporary Italian food and a sweeping Pacific ocean view.

The menu includes an extensive selection of fine wines to go with their island-style Mediterranean meals - roast lobster with white vermouth lobster sauce and vegetable ribbons, milk-fed veal chop with oxtail and Barolo sauce, or rare ahi tuna alla caponata with eggplant, tomato, and red bell peppers. The deliciously decadent torte di mandorle is a warm almond souffl� cake with a fresh Fuji apples compote and cr�me fraiche ice cream.

The Lodge at Koele is located in the dramatic central highlands of the island of Lanai and offers a pastoral retreat with countryside landscaping, elegant English gardens, and tall pine trees. The Formal Dining Room is the Lodge's gracious classic restaurant, with a crackling stone fireplace, large orchid and other floral arrangements, and guests dressed for the occasion (jackets are required for the men and heels and pearls are often donned by the women).
