THE place to go back to!!
We stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel during my daughters Spring Break - it was our first trip to Hawaii and we loved it. The hotel staff were wonderful; very heplful with any & everything; always very polite and so generous - we liked all of them - from housekeeping to management, they were all very welcoming. The room was very clean and the food in the restaurants was superb. It was convenient to every place we wanted to go. We found we could plan our entire vacation right from the hotel. We are going back to Hawaii very soon and it will be back to the Pacific Beach Hotel. It will always be where we will stay when visiting Hawaii. Thank all of you for helping make our vacation so pleasant!! I. Vine & daughter |

Location, Location, Location!
The Pacific Beach Hotel has a fantastic location directly across the beach from famous Waikiki Beach, not to mention Cheeseburger in Paradise is just a few steps away! The rooms are a little run down and could use a renovation, but they are clean and comfortable just outdated. I loved the restaurant they have there. I believe it was called the Oceanarium Restaurant and they have a huge tank full of exotic fish. The staff was also friendly. Its a good hotel for people who are trying to keep their cost down but want a great location. As long as you go into it knowing it isn't the Four Seasons you should enjoy your stay. |

Across the street from Waikiki Beach!
The best part about my stay at the Pacific Beach Hotel was the location - it is right across the street from Waikiki Beach which is perfect for me!
Traveling with my sister, we did not require much and the Pacific Beach Hotel was perfect for our needs. Very clean, comfortable and cost effective! We did splurge on dinner in the resturant - the aquarium was a site to be seen and dinner was tasty too! |

Favorite place to stay in Wakikik
The Pacific Beach is the best. It's only steps away from the beach. We had an "Ocean Front" room and it was outstanding! Huge and gorgeous and the bathroom was to die for! The food was outstanding and the staff was great. We can't wait to go back and stay again! |

I ONLY stay at the Pacific Beach Hotel
When visiting Hawaii, I only stay in this hotel. Talk about convenience and the most fantastic buffet in your hotel, this is a really great place to stay. I've stayed there 3 times and will not book any other hotel. The Pleasant Hawaii Tour Desk is conveniently located in the lobby, chartered buses for all the key spots pick you up righ there. You can walk to the International Market place only a couple of blocks up and you can get an ocean view because it is one hotel space below the others across the stree, no obstruction in your view. Service is great, rooms were great (I get the corner every time), McDonald's is next door on the corner. Great place to stay and walk across the street to the water/beach! What more do you need? It's a wonderful hotel, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. I love the aquarium and the restaurants inside. |

Great Vacation
My husband and I took our first vacation to Hawaii in March. We stayed at the Pacfic Beach and could not have been happier. If you want plush luxury this hotel is probably not for you. But if you want cleanliness, perfect location and a great place to stay this is for you. We could not have been happier with our king size partial ocean view. The lobby is on a side street right across from the beach, not far from the Duke Statue and the police department. Within walking distance of everything. A few blocks from the International Market Place, a block from Cheeseburger in Paradise (although i don't recommend it) 1 block from a great Catholic church, right across the street from a McDonalds and 2 blocks from Burger King. The nice thing about this hotel too is that you can come off of the elevator and walk straight out the front door to the beach, you don't walk thru the main lobby in your suit. There is an ABC store right next to the street opening which is very handy for all kinds of food, drinks and souveniers. The breakfast is highly recommended. It is just huge and if you have a nice breakfast you don't usually need lunch. The valets are extremely helpful in calling a shuttle for you. If you need a good place to go for a happy hour try the RED LION. Just two blocks from the hotel. GREAT PRICES!! Again, we could not have been happier with The Pacific Beach Hotel and this is where we would stay if we go back again.

Our stay at the Pacific Beach Hotel Waikiki
Hi Daniel,
I just wanted to say "Thank You" as we had a fantastic stay at the Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki from Sept 09-Oct 4. We didn't know what kind of room we would get, and we were so happy when we checked into the hotel and we were in the 2nd tower, 26th floor with partial oceanview. The view was wonderful, our room nice and spacious and clean. The Oceanarium restaurant was awesome, plenty of options with the breakfast buffet.
It was such a pleasure dealing with you & Great Hawaii Vacations, and you can be sure we will book another trip with you. |

Pacific Beach Holtel - Beware not for Americans, families or kids
I was absolutely horrified by the accomidations here. The staff was rude and could not speak english. Clearly, there must be a sign saying "Not for Americans!" Could not get help or services on no less than 4 occassions asked for the manager, who was unavailable, meeting, vacation, on the phone, busy - every excuse in the book. The biggest problem, as a single mom with my son, the minute we stepped out of the hotel we were flanked by homeless wanting money, food, cigerettes, there was NO security. Homeless sleep right at the door of the building. At no time did I feel safe here! The food and service in the restaurant were awful and the waiters complined if you didn't tip them well enough, literally coming after you to verbally harass. This is a low budget place - no doubt with poor excuse for service, clenaliness and quality are not part of this establishment. It is truly freightening to stay here - pay more stay somewhere else, anywhere else!!!!! |

California
We were guests at the Pacific Beach Hotel from Feb 11th to Feb 27th, 2011. We enjoyed our stay and were treated excellent. The room was always clean and staff was great. It was our first trip to Honolulu. We were disappointed in Honolulu as maybe we expected too much. It is too touristy and someone is always trying to sell you something. The homeless people are another thing. We toured the north shore and found washrooms and beaches were not clean. The weather was great but too much high end shops everywhere and good restraunts are hard to find. |
