Honolulu Vacation

The Hyatt Regency Waikiki was in a fabulous location overlooking the beach. The service was impecable and delightful to deal with. The breakfast buffett could have been better but it was okay.

Great View!!!!

I recently just stayed here with a good friend of mine. We really enjoyed our 32nd floor accommodations here. The view was AMAZING. During our stay they had a parade and we just sat on our lanai (balcony) and watched it. We loved waking up and watching the surfers every morning, but unlike California the number of them grew as it got later in the day. The room was beautiful, a little stark but it was still nice and classy looking. I loved having the flat screen TV each night to fall asleep to. There were a couple of things that did bother me though. You do hear hallway noise and they nickel and dime you for everything. I think coffee in my room each morning was $1.50 (single cup brewer) and slipper use was $3. I know its Hawaii...but come on! All in all I'd stay here again, just maybe bring my own coffee pot!

Where do I start?

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Location was perfect (right across from the beach), service was friendly, shopping was awesome (you don't have to leave property) and our view gave us a great shot of Waikiki Beach! It was truly the perfect hotel for our trip, thank you again!

Was an Ok place

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki for a few nights this past July 2010. We decided on this hotel after researching many sites. I must say that the people at Great Hawaii Vacations were very honest and helpful. The rooms are very small and the service was so-so. But, we got a really great deal and the Hyatt is in a great location right across the street from Waikiki Beach. Overall, it was a good stay. Next time, I think we'll try something on the beach like the Sheraton Waikiki. I heard from some friends of mine that they've done some really great room renovations. Look forward to going back to Oahu in the near future.
