My Second Home!
I have been staying at the Waikiki Sunset since 1980 with my most recent trip in December, 2003. My next trip is planned for December 26th of this year. I am so comfortable staying there that I consider it my second home. The staff has always been so professional and courteous that I could never find fault with anything or anyone. I find it to be conveniently located to the International Marketplace and many other attractions and it is only one block from the beach. I have always found the Sunset to be very clean in all aspects. I just love that you can choose your own view, Diamond Head, Ocean, City or the Mountains. Most mornings, there will be a rainbow on the Mountain side which most people would love to see in Hawaii because the island is noted for rainbows. I have stayed in one and two bedroom condos and find it to be very roomy and so much more comfortable than staying in a hotel room. I have not stayed in a hotel room since I started staying at the Sunset. I have recommended the Sunset to many people and everyone has been so pleased and enjoyed themselves immensely. They have a pool and tennis court if you choose not to go to the beach. I look forward to going to my second home in a few months from now. I no sooner get home in Massachusetts and I am ready to book another trip. I don't ever consider staying anywhere else because I just love the Waikiki Sunset-My Second Home. |

Spacious, Convenient, Great View
The Waikiki Sunset offers guests a spacious, modern apartment (with a safe in the bedroom closet) about 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach and its zoo, and one block from the bus stop. It is a quiet location. There are convenience stores everywhere, so having a real kitchen enabled me to have a nutricious breakfast and my midnight snack with a gorgeous view. Hawaiian coffee is provided for you to brew. There is also morning coffee in the lobby. Bar-B-Q grills are on the sixth floor near the pool and tennis court for guests to use. I would love to be able to stay there again. ONE CAVEAT: the State of Hawaii is anti-smoking. There is no smoking in any room nor on the balconies; niether in restaurants nor bars. If I were a smoker, I would not want to vacation in this state unless I really wanted to quit smoking. |
