Good & Bad

The lobby is open and beautiful with flowers everywhere. We booked a room for 5 people and the hotel charges an extra $20 for the rollaway. The bathroom was very small. The only air conditioner was in the bedroom which made the living room very hot. "They were having unusually hot weather during our stay". The manager of the hotel was wonderful and ended up moving us to another floor and giving us 2 rooms for the same price. Yes, I would stay there again.

Would not stay here again

I thought construction would be completed by the time we arrived, but there was plywood and yellow tape all around the pool, although no construction took place the week we were there. The road noise was awful so we ran the air conditioner to try to cover it up to sleep at night. There was an awful lot of police activity at the hotel and in the neighborhood. Management was not very friendly and although we had asked for a late check out months ahead of time as our plane did not leave until 11:40 p.m. we were only allowed to stay until 1:00 p.m. The maid didn't arrive until around 4:00 p.m. daily, and they did not replace soap bars or shampoo each day although we had run out. We found much nicer hotels for the same price range closer to the beach. We will not stay here again nor recommend it.
