The full-service resort offers hula and lei-making classes, scuba diving lessons and Keiki Kamp, an exciting, fully supervised daily program for children ages 5-12. Also, their deluxe oceanview rooms will accommodate up to two adults and three children, so it saves a family of five from having to buy another room.

Condo: ResortQuest Kaanapali Shores

ResortQuest Kaanapali Shores has it all: recently renovated units, a great beach, pool and restaurants. It also doesn't hurt that it's about 2 minutes from Whalers Shopping Village and 5 minutes from Lahaina. Camp Kaanapali is a great year-round kids program for ages 5-12. With the two pools, two spas, three tennis courts, putting green, fitness center and guest activities desk, Resort Quest Kaanapali Shores is a condominium complex with a resort feel.

Hotel: Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa

The combination of incredible pools and family-friendly pricing (like reduced rates on a second room) make the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa the most family-friendly hotel on Kauai. There are several pools located throughout the sprawling, well-maintained grounds and you're only minutes from Brennecke's Beach, Shipwreck Beach and Poipu Beach.
