Gorgeous Views
I wanted to stay somewhere with a beautiful ocean view and a quiet atmosphere. I didn't want to stay somewhere really crowded with tourists like Kaanapali. I stayed in an oceanfront studio at Napili Shores the week of May 17th and was very pleased. Paying extra for an ocean front room as opposed to an "ocean view" room was worth every penny in order to take advantage of the breathtaking views of Napili Bay. The ocean view rooms have limited views. With the oceanfront rooms, your lanai is only twenty feet from the shoreline. FYI, the shoreline right in front of Napili Shores is rocky (with interesting tide pools) but the sandy beach is just a very short walk down a 40-foot path. The condo itself was clean and comfortable. Nothing spectacular except for the view, which was the most important thing to me. No air conditioning, but a ceiling fan and you can keep the window slats open at night to take advantage of the ocean breeze. They have two pools and a restaurant open for breakfast and lunch called the Gazebo. It's very popular, so expect lines. There's another restaurant open only for dinner that we didn't try. I think staying anywhere on Napili Bay would be great, but if you want an ocean front place with a pool and a restaurant you'll want to stay at either Napili Shores or Napili Kai at the other end of the bay. Napili Kai is very nice, but more expensive. There are several other smaller condos along the beach that also might be of interest. |

The Best-Should Be Rated Much Higher!
We just returned from our first trip to Hawaii and our stay at napili shores was excellent! We stayed in a garden veiw which we could still look out of our room and see the ocean. The nights were fantastic for sleeping hearing the ocean tide. If you don't want a high rise this is the place to go for the money. You have 2 pools or the beach and they even supply towels and books to read while you catch the rays of sun.
The gazebo has great breakfasts and lunches for under ten dollars and has a very nice resturant also. The staff were all very nice and the place was very clean, if you wished to dine in and cook all aminities were there for you to use. A nice grocery store located at napili plaza not more than 5 min. away. It's not fancy, so if you want splendor go somewhere else but if you are looking for value this is the place to be. If you think you need airconditioning you don't here, there wasn't a time that we needed it, there was always a nice breaze from the ocean. I hope you enjoy your trip as much as we did. |

Quaintly nestled piece of serenity
Bieng a fan of Maui and having visited a few times (staying mostly in the resort area of Kaanapali) We were delightfully impressed with the accomodations, grounds and views from this quaintly nestled condo complex. And let me say first - whether you stay here or not, you must visit the Gazebo Restaurant for breakfast or lunch (maybe both) absolutely worth the wait in line.
The views from our oceanfront condo of the Napili Bay and Honokeana Cove simply took our breath away (But doesn't so much of Maui!!!) Swimming in the bay and snorkeling at the cove were some of the best we have experienced on the island. The Napili point area is so peaceful and serene that you almost do not want to explore the many other wonderful spots on Maui. Thanks to Patti and Great Hawaii Vacations we had an extremely relaxing and wonderful vacation. |

Great! Great! Great! Great!
Great Property! Great Price! Great Food! Great Location! What more would we have wanted on our first visit to Hawaii. We had a beautiful oceanview room steps from the bay (where swimming and sunbathing were perfect) and the cove (just as perfect for snorkeling). We were really central to alot of places to see. We loved Lahaina Town with that beautiful Banyan Tree, Golfing in Kapalua, and Shopping in Kaanapali. As I said just, great, great and great! Thanks Great Hawaii Vacations and our agent Adam. We had a wonderful time and it didn't break us!!! |

Was a very good value
Stayed at the Napili Shores with my girlfriend this past May. Had a really great time. We had a little studio oceanview unit. Everymorning, we'd take our snorkeling gear and head out to the cove. It was great fun. Afterwards, we'd go have breakfast at the Gazebo (the restaurant at the condo). They have some of the best breakfast in town. The Napili Shores is perfect for those looking to get away from the "hustle and bustle" of Kaanapali. We would stay there again. We hope to be returning to Maui in a few years. |

My little paradise
We just returned from Maui. We stayed just north of Kaanapali on Napili Bay. OMG, such a great value for such an awesome spot. Our oceanfront studio at the Outrigger NAPILI SHORES was steps away from the sand ... swimming in the bay is wonderful and just down the beach is a great cove full of sea turtles. the "Gabezo", the on site restaurant has the best "Macnut" Pancakes! |
