Inexpensive but it Works!
Did enjoy my stay at the Maui Islander. However I did not fly all the way to Maui to stay in a posh room. I came to Hawaii to enjoy Hawaii. The rooms do need some updating but with all the money I saved on my hotel I had more to spend on daytrips. Great hotel for a small budget. |

Good Value
We asked in advance for a renovated room and got one (though I believe that by now almost all of them are), it was clean, well furnished and the A/C worked well.The garden was being tended that week and they were finishing renovating some rooms in other parts of the hotel: we did not get bothered by any noise.The safe fee was not charged at check-out.For a vacation in a seaside resort, where you'll spend a lot of time outdoors, this hotel delivers a very good value and I'll gladly go back. |

Don’t expect much and you'll be happy here
Ok, I've been to better places, but the location is awesome. This is a capital B for budget property. If you are expecting to be pampered with luxurious surroundings, book elsewhere. If you just need a clean bed to lay your head at night, this will not empty your wallet. Don't expect much and you should be just fine staying here. Save your money for doing vacation activities! You are on MAUI! Or you can pay for one night what you spend here in a week at those big, fancy overpriced resorts. Simple enough. |

Aina Nalu All New!
The old reviews of the newly remodelled Aina Nalu resort are just that OLD! This resort is amazing. Beautiful rooms, beautiful grounds and best of all a fantastic location convenient to everything in Lahaina. Every restaurant was a quick walk away, the snorkeling tours all left from Lahaina harbor, so in the morning, grab your complimentary coffee by the pool and walk to the tour.

Maui, Hawaii (Lahaina)
Maui is PERFECT! My husband & I chose to travel to Maui for our second honeymoon, and could not have chose a better destination. We stayed at the Aina Nalu in Lahaina for an entire week. I loved the condo at Aina Nalu. The rooms were clean and adequate for our stay. The location was great as well becasue we were meerly minutes away from all the shops, and could walk to the beach, the shops, and the restaurants. I could not have asked for a more pleasant trip, and hope to definately return to Maui, and to the Aina Nalu Resort again someday. |

Maui Holiday
It's a beautiful resort. Walking to front street Lahaina is 2 min away. Lots of great shops and restaurants. Beautiful grounds and pools. Everyone was very nice. Rooms were very nicely decorated and housekeeping kept them very clean . The rooms did not have safes in them which I thought was strange and did not like, and we had to pay $15.00 a day to park our vehicle, but other than that we had a great stay! |
