Our Great Hawaii Vacations Review

The Maui Sunset offers good value for those looking for something other than staying at a 5 star resort. It's clean, comfortable and offers beautiful sunsets from the beach. It's a good deal.

Property Description

The Maui Sunset is a moderate beachfront condominium resort located in North Kihei.

The Maui Sunset has a large grass area in front of the property. The 60 foot L-shaped pool is one of the largest in Maui and is surrounded by gaslit tiki torches each evening.

Right at your doorstep is a 34 acre fishpond, built by a Hawaiian king centuries ago. Windsurfing, shoreline casting and spear fishing off the nearby breakwater are a few of the many water sport activities at the Maui Sunset.

A short drive from the Maui Sunset to central Kihei for shopping, resturants and art galleries. A few minutes more takes you to Wailea. Wailea is a showcase for beautiful upscale hotels.

The Maui Sunset is 20 minutes from the main airport at Kahului, 25 minutes to Lahaina and Kaanapali.

Beach Information

The beach in front of the Maui Sunset is not a swimming beach, however the beach is great for wind-surfing.
