Nice, spacious condos

Our family of 6 people had a great time at the Kapalua Villas. Before we got there, we were concerned whether a condo was a good choice for us since we had always stayed at Hotels. It was a good choice. The units are very large. I felt our family had more than enough space in our 2 bedroom condo. We would have liked to be closer to the beach, but we booked a little late and therefore were left with a fairway view. It was still very nice. The nice thing about this resort is that we were able to use the facilities at the Ritz (although we did have to pay the resort fees). All in all, we were very happy and look forward to coming back sometime in 2006.

Favorite Vacation Location

We have stayed at the Kapalua Villas for three straight summers. It is by far our favorite vacation spot. The Villas are very large in size, with most all the one bedrooms having two bathrooms and a washer/dryer. All condo units are clean with comfortable furniture and spectacular views.
When staying at the condos, you have full use of both 5 star hotel facilities. (Ritz and Kapalua Bay Hotels). Condo guests are given a charge card for use at the hotels, so you can spend the day at the pool and charge drinks and meals, as if you were staying at the hotel. There are also 3 neighborhood pools, which have barbecue grills to use for cooking meals. Golf at the 3 Kapalua courses is discounted if you are a Villa guest. There is a complimentary shuttle which will take guests anywhere in the Kapalua area. Once you turn off the main highway into the Kapalua resort, you feel like you are entering a slice of heaven. We would never stay anywhere else on Maui. The cost is worth it, and then some.

Our anniversary in paradisa...

We have visited Hawaii several times and yet we were totally blown away at the Kapalua Villas. The island sense and sensibility of the property overall was simply amazing. You have to see to believe. (If you are thinking about staying here, just do it).The views, the grounds, the activities (Do one of the ZipLine tours!!!) all meet and exceed your expectations time and time again. Great Hawaii Vacations helped us plan a true anniversary vacation in paradise. MAHALO!!

Amazing

We stayed in the gold villas Room 20P3 it was awesome. It was everything the web site said it was. It was our first time in Maui. If I go back I would definitely stay at the villas again. Would not recommend it to people with small children. Very quite and peacful. We had a parital ocean view. It was beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

Unforgetable!!

Excellent!!! We just stayed at The Kapalua Villas for the first time. As seasoned travelers to Hawaii we did not expect to walk away with the feeling..WOW!...AWESOME!...UNFORGETABLE! This propety is truly amazing. The views were unbelievable (especially the view of the crystal clear bay). The room was georgous with views that were 'picture perfect.' Other than the wind, the Kapalua Villas was awesome

I really want to give this condo complex the highest of recommendations. The Kapalua Villas is awesome. The interior quality of the units, the views of the ocean, the resort priviledges to the nearby Ritz Calrton - all pluses. However, the wind up there is really bad. Perhaps, it was the timing of the trip. We were there in earlty march. Our agent at Great Hawaii Vacations had cautioned us on it, but we were determined to stay at the condo. So, to recap, the facilities were terrific - highly recommend, but hated the darn wind.

Wow

"Wow" pretty much sums up my thoughts on the Kapalua Villas. Amazing place! We had an oceanfront condo (one of their gold units) and it was simply amazing. The view was breathtaking and the interior of the unit was first class. Even a friend of ours who lives on Maui said "wow, this is a really nice condo" when he came to visit us. Thanks to Kavan (our agent) at Great Hawaii Vacations who suggested we go with a gold unit. Totally worth it!

Sheer beaty!

Kapalua is so peaceful! We enjoyed our stay at Kapalua Villas. Beautiful green fairways .... awesome ocean views! I felt like I could reach out and touch the whales from our lanai. A complimentary shuttle took us throughout the Kapalua Resort. Enjoyed some great restaurants! Our condo was gorgeous, it's a little more money - but I would strongly recommend booking a "Gold" condo.
