Kahana Village is a 45 minutes drive from the main airport at Kahului, Maui. From Kahana, Kaanapali is 10 minutes and if you ar driving to Kihei or Wailea it is approximately a 35 minute drive.
Beach Information
The Kahana Village is a beachfront resort. The quality of the beach in front of the Kahana Village fluctuates depending upon surf conditions and weather. Sometimes beach conditions at the Kahana Village are very good and other times it can be rocky. There are several excellent Maui beaches within a 10 minute drive: Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay or the Kaanapali beaches.
Our Family Had a Great Vacation at the Kahana Village
Our family recently returned from a two week vacation at the Kahana Village. We were recommended to this property because of the family like atmosphere and the large deluxe condominiums. We were definitely not disappointed. My wife and I particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony enjoying the sunsets. The pool a the Kahana Village is not large but was adequate for our family. If you are looking for a terrific spot try the Gazebo Restaurant at the Napili Shores.

We came with 3kids, a toddler, and a nanny, it was great. Plenty of room for all of us, and the kitchen had everything you needed. Only drove 5-10 minutes to the grocery store and had great meals @ the condo. Very private, as in not dozens of half naked people laying around giggling (teenagers). The condo had pool stuff and beach towels etc, that was great. Even got to wash clothes before coming home!!
We will be coming back, its definitely worth the price.
