Great Honeymoon Spot.

My husband and I stayed at the Westin for the last 5 nights of our honeymoon. We loved it! The rooms were so nice, from the Heavenly Bed to the oversized shower with dual shower heads, granite counter top, and jacuzzi tub. The pool was great too, and the grounds were well tended with lots of plants and flowers. Everyone (staff) was super friendly and professional. There is great snorkeling right off the beach by the hotel, and the staff at the towel/snorkel gear rental was very helpful in getting us set up with rentals and talking to us about what we saw. The poolside chairs are very comfy and you can have all the clean towels you want from the hotel for free. The resort is close to everything too, at least in West Maui. We would stay here again.

We Had A Great Time

Great room and wonderful in-room Jacuzzi. Food was only OK. There was small charge for everyday cleaning, which we requested and gladly paid. We enjoyed snorkeling and swimming with sea turtles on the shallow reef adjacent beach. We heard eerily beautiful whale songs when snorkeling. The whales were playing. On the windy days, Honolua Bay had perfect surf and Homoa beach was beautiful. Overall, we rate this resort high for excellent rooms, great beach and convenient location. However, there is room for improvement in housekeeping and services

Our Family Had A Truly GREAT Vacation

We recently went to the Westin for a five-day visit with our entire family. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. The kids really loved the swimming pools. Personally, I loved the location and the beach. Also we were able to walk to Whalers Village which is right next door for a large variety of restaurants, shops and art galleries. The four of us had a truly relaxing and wonderful vaction. I cannot wait to go back....hopefully soon.

Fantastic!

This is the finest resort ever built in West Maui. It's amazing and the villas are five star, off the charts. Beautiful beaches.

Disappointing

The service was good, the lobby floor lovely. After that it all fell apart. The rooms were adequate but very plain, generic and unattractive. The beach was basically unusable, very small. Plus even with a daily "resort fee" they wanted extra money to rent beach chairs and reservations for beach umbrellas. We clearly paid for that in the $25 a day resort fee. All we really got for that was parking, and a mezanine gym not much used. The restaurants and food were exorbitant--$18 for a scanty cereal breakfast or $25 if you wanted actual food. Dinners ranged from above $30 to $45 per person. Nearby restaurants were also just about as expensive. Only option a food court next door at the upscale Whaler shopping center, where you could get mall food court sandwiches for around $10--and, oh wow, McDonald's. When I climbed down into one of the pools, my feet hit slime so hazardous on the bottom I climbed right back out. No night life at all. Everything emptied anywhere in the lobby area by 6 p.m. Just dead. Not for anyone under the age of 50 except the exhausted young couples who were there with their babies and strollers.

we spent 5 wonderful days in Westin, it's an amazing place.Although the internet was down for last two days and there is daily charge of $25 no matter what,we still were happy, watching the pink flamingos and listening for the parrots saying"aloha".The food is very good, the swimming pools are gorgeous, the ocean is right there-beautiful!we went to the rain forests(highly recommend this excursion!)wanted to go to see the volcanoes by private jet,but didn't expect to pay $433 per person..
There is no night life,so it's very relaxing:)
I hope to come back there as soon as possible!!

My husband and I were in Paradise!!

From the moment we turned into the driveway at night with the beautiful lighting, through the lobby with the beautiful view and the sound of the waterfalls, and up in our room, my husband and I were amazed! The staff had the aloha spirit throughout the grounds of the hotel and the service was excellent. The bed was so comfortable in our room and the view (waterfalls) was great. The housekeeping ladies were so pleasant and very patient with us due to my husband's health condition. The food was great and the landscaping is so beautiful at times it was hard for me to leave the hotel for sightseeing because it provided so many things to do and just being there in this tropical environment is just heaven to me! I can't wait to bring the whole family back here and show them what a beautiful place this is. Thank you to all the hotel staff for making our one week stay the most memorable vacation we've had so far!

This Resort was wonderful from the start, we brought our children ages 12-14 and they were entertained the entire vacation. The many pools and waterslides were wonderful, plus being so close to the ocean and a mall within walking distance was fabulous. The staff were so incredible, they were extremely courteous and helpful. Unfortunately I became ill shortly into the trip and that's when the staff showed just how great they were. I was hospitalized for one night and when I got back I recieved a rose and card from some staff. They made me feel special and cared for. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Kavan from Great Hawaii Vacations made everything so easy, Thank you so much. We will definitely be using them again to return to the Westin in Maui.

Wonderful 25th Anniversary

We loved the Westin and would definitely stay here again. We celebrated our 25th Anniversary and could not have been happier. We have wonderful memories and wish we were still there. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was great. After walking along the path by the beach and looking at the near by hotels we were so happy we chose the Westin.
