My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt in late September. We totally loved the pool area and the quality of service. The pool area is fabulous - waterfalls/slides, caves, childrens area it really was great. No problems getting sunbeds at any time of the day. The gardens and animals were lovely. We loved to walk to Whalers Village for shopping and looking at some fantastic art galleries. We are already planning my next trip to the Hyatt.

Awesome Vacation
My husband really wanted to go to Hawaii for our ten-year anniversary. We spent some time in Oahu but when we went to Maui, we stayed at the Hyatt and absolutely loved it. The pool area is great. The service was great. Nothing like sitting by the pool with a fruity rum drink. The grounds are very nice with lots of gardens and animals, even penguins. There are a lot of activities. We did not have kids, but seemed like a great place for family vacations as well. We loved to watch the sunset from the beach area. The beach area is quite small, but you can walk always down to a little larger beach area. If you stay here, go to the Luau. It was nice and the food was very good. Restaurants are a little pricey but food was very good and service was exceptional. If we ever visit Hawaii again, we will definitely stay here.

25th Anniversary Get-Away
We had never experienced Hawaii before this trip. Our decision to stay at the Hyatt Regency on Maui for our 25th Anniversary was perfect. The room, shops, beach and swimming pools were unsurpassed. Being given a 10-day pass for complimentary breakfast at the absolutely magnificent indoor/outdoor restaurant with the terrific service and delicious foods was a treat we will never forget. The staff was so attentive, and helped us secure reservations for the helicopter ride, and scuba diving. A perfect 10!

Major Wow!!
By far, this was the best vacation we have ever experienced. The Hyatt is so good at everything, that you can hardly believe the consistency in the service, grounds, shops, pool, food, convenience, etc.We loved the "beach", which consists of a lawn that buttresses the ocean with palm trees, recliners and beverage tables. You are as close to the ocean as you want to be, yet no sandy experience. (If you want sand, you can have it nearby.) We relaxed as we never have before. Can't imagine ever going anywhere else in Maui.

Quality/Location/Views/Fun - It's all here!
The Hyatt has the best pool area in Ka'anapali, great restaurants, and tons of activities. It was the perfect resort for our family. Plus, our deluxe ocean front room had a breathtaking view. Almost every evening you could find us on our lanai watching the sunset with a tasty cocktail in hand. Talk about paradise!
One downside, the beach directly in front of the property is a bit smaller than the main parts of Ka'anapali Beach. However, this minor issue is easily remedied. If you follow the "beachwalk" no more than 3 minutes down, the beach transforms into an expansive stretch of sand and clear water. Plus, Whaler's Village and Black Rock are only a short walk away.
Our entire family loved it so much that we vowed to return next year... See you there!

The Hyatt is So Beautiful!
We are very happy that Great Hawaii Vacations recommended the Hyatt on Kaanapali Beach. What wonderful views and superb service. The beach in front of the property is only good for wading but the pools are excellent. The service is also very good and we really liked the choices for restaurants that they have right at the Hyatt. Since I love to play golf, I also enjoyed the good championship-style courses across the street. Highly recommend this property to all my friends.

Great Resort
My wife and I recently stayed at the Hyatt Maui and we loved it. Our view (deluxe ocean view) was amazing, the pools were great and the lobby is beautiful. The breakfast buffet is top notch, too. The balcony off our room was a little small, but everything else was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Wonderful property!
We visited the Hyatt Regency Maui in August not knowing what to expect; needless to say, we were very impressed!
From the moment we walked into the open-air lobby and saw the fantastic decor, we knew that this vacation was going to be better than any we'd had before. The talking parrots were a special touch, as was the ability to dine just steps from our room while overlooking the ocean.
The pool complex was very fun, and even in the middle of busy season, there were plenty of available lounge chairs.
The room was excellently furnished, and the bed was especially comfortable. All-in-all, we really loved the Hyatt Regency Maui!

Great Hotel
I have been to Maui many times over the years. My stay at the Hyatt was amazing. The rooms are a little small but very comfortable. A little more light in the bathrooms would be good. The pool is amazing. The grounds are amazing. I like access to the board walk the runs along the beach. The breakfast buffet has got to be one of the best I have ever had. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would recommend the Hyatt and would definitely stay there again.

The Hyatt Regency Maui is very special
Jane and I have stayed at the Hyatt Regency Maui many times during our numerous trips to Maui. We also have stayed at the other Hyatt properties in Hawaii. We keep coming back the Hyatt Regency Maui because of the beautiful ambiance of the entire property. The gardens, pools, bird sanctuaries, shops are outstanding. We also like being near the Whaler Shopping Center for convenient dining and shopping. We are planning another trip next fall back again the to Hyatt Regency.
