New fan of Aston Mahana
We enjoyed the Aston Mahana. The decor was nice. This is literally an ocean front hotel. We could hear the ocean with the doors closed. We were on the 4th floor and the view was spectacular. The beach was very nice. We especially enjoyed the living room. It is a quiet place to stay. Everything in the room functioned well. The property grounds are beautiful. I would definitely recommend this condominium to others. In fact, we would stay there again. |

Great Lodging & View in Maui
My wife and I just returned from a 10 day stay at the Resort Quest Mahana in Maui. We were very pleased with the facilities including the pool, beach, BBQ area, beautiful view from the balcony, room (1013), and proximity to the beach (20 yards from our patio door).
The only problems we experienced were 1) our room was right next to the elevator so the sound of the elevator could be heard at night (we slept with the patio door open for the sound of the surf anyway so it wasn't too bad), 2) the wireless internet connection was not very dependable, and 3) there is a huge condominium complex being built next door so the construction noise begins at 7:00 AM. I would suggest you get a room away from the elevator, and the construction project (north tower). However, if the elevator or the construction noise (after 7 AM) won't bother you, I would highly recommended unit #1013 as the owners keep it very clean and well maintained.
