Beach Information
A small sandy beach is right in front of the Kapaa Sands. This beach is swimmable but you need to be careful because of undertows. There are several beaches that are within walking distance that are excellent for swimming, boogie boarding, snorkeling or taking a stroll.

The Kapaa Sands is exactly what my girlfriend and I wanted on Kauai vacation. We stayed in an oceanfront studio with a spectacular view of the ocean. Kapaa Sands was the perfect experience for us. The Kapaa Sands epitimizes the essence of Kauai. Layback, casual with most breathtaking views of the ocean. We also enjoyed being in the Wailua area were we could go to Kapaa and enjoy some good meals at the A Pacific Cafe and other restaurants. Also stores to buy groceries and shop were in Kapaa. The Kapaa Sands is a definate must for people wanting a perfect Hawaii vacation.
