Beautiful location

My husband and I enjoyed our 5 days in a one bedroom partial ocean view condo at the Kiahuna Plantation in Poipu. If you are on the ground floor as we were, you might experience a lack of privacy due to the open plantation shutters at the windows. We loved the beautiful grounds, we loved the beach and Poipu has always been a favorite for us. If I went back to this property I would ask for an upstairs unit for more privacy.

Wonderful for families!

Our stay at the Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation was one of our most memorable family vacations. I was a little worried because I had read that your condo could be far from the water and the pool was across the street from the condos ... once I arrived, my worries melted away! The garden setting is beautiful .. so relaxing to walk to the sandy beach or the pool. Amazing green belts so my little ones could run around and I could just gaze at the beautiful palm trees and smell the fragrant plumeria blossoms! My husband was happy with the Kiahuna Golf Course and of course that he had his complimentary internet access to check in with work. So many great restaurants and unique shops close by. We had everything we needed. Another wonderful stay in PARADISE!

Favourite Place to Vacation.

We had a ground floor garden view condo, and with two children, this is great, as the garden becomes an extension of your room.
The cooking facilities were great, as are the gas BBQ's located around the gardens.
The safe beach, with activities (our daughter took an improves course for her surfing), the closeness of Breneckers beach, for heavy duty body boarding, meant we all had good beach activities.
The only slight downside is the off site pool. The management of the pool are not friendly, and the spa did not work during our stay. If Kiahuna could get an on site pool and beach bar, they would get full marks, but still somewhere we will visit again.

Great for families

My family and I stayed at the Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation in June as a little "school's out" celebration. We had a two-bedroom oceanview and it was plenty roomy for myself, my husband and our two kids. It also has the added benefit of being the only condo in Poipu right on the beach which was a big plus for us. Much easier to walk down to the beach instead of having to throw everything in the car and drive around to find a beach. One thing I'd recommend is requesting an upper floor unit for the best view. The price we got from Great Hawaii Vacations was the best we could find anywhere.

Paradise!

I love the beach at Kiahuna Plantation and the slide at the pool was fun for the kids. We did have to walk across the street to the pool, but we didn't mind the walk ..it was a beautiful stroll with swaying palm trees and the smell of the ocean. Condo was clean and comfortable. We cannot wait to go back!
