Good property for the price
The condo complex is not luxurious, but it is well situated right on the water. rocky coast, no sand). Our unit was modestly furnished but roomy, clean and had beach equipment (towels, mats, beach umbrella and cooler.)
For those of you cooking in, check out the nearby Koloa Fish Market for fresh fish and sauces/marinades.
This is worth the money, if you are looking for budget property near the beach. |

good central location
We stayed at Kuhio Shores 202. We were disappointed in how the unit looked old furniture, but it was usable and the location of the condo was really good. We didn't have air conditioning but lots of fans and trade winds. My husband and I traveled over 600 miles of driving to find out so much about the beautiful island of Kauai. Sea turtle in the water next to the shore by Kuhio Shores. Also watch the sunsets from the Beach House restaurant walk area. Beach House is really good food but be careful of over charges of photos of the sunset. The food was good but very expensive. Around $126.00 for two drinks,2 entrees and split a dessert.
We had fish/ shrimp entree. Really good.
The condo didn't have a washer and dryer but is available on site. Nice parking areas.
Lots of free stuff on the island, Spouting Horn, Waterfalls, and lots to explore. We didn't want to go home. Dress warm to go to Waimea Canyon. Go all the way to the top and work your way down to each outlook. Also use the Air Venture tour it was great and a lot less expensive than helicopter. |
