Beautiful Condo!

The Outrigger Waipouli Beach was absolutely perfect for my family! We had an amazing two bedroom condo and felt right at home. We definately put the kitchen and washing machine to use. Everything we could have needed was right at our fingertips. After sending the kids off to the beautiful pool area, my husband and I even got the chance to spend the day together at the spa's cabana, just relaxing and enjoying the beauty of PARADISE!! The vacation was absolutely perfect. Thank you!

Family Vacation 2007

Every year we vacation with our Son,daughter-in-law and 2 grandson's.Last July we went to Kauai and stayed at the Waipouli Resort and it was awesome. Everything we needed or wanted was there. We had a 2B 3Bath ocean front. The only thing that happened was the condo was not ready the day of our arrival, we had to stay in a garden view near the front of the resort, but the next day the staff moved all our belongings to our condo, and after we returned from sight seeing the second day, we went to our appointed condo. We were given compensation by way of credits at the food shack near the pool. We will return there next year.

Nice Place

We really enjoyed the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas. The facilities are very good. We especially liked the fact that you had resort type amenities but still had the comforts of home such as a washer and dryer and kitchen. We ended up saving quite a bit of money as a result of it. Although the property sits on top of a bluff, you don't get much of an oceanview. Our unit had a partial oceanview. If this property had views of the water, it would be probably be one of the better accommodations on Hawaii. At any rate, still enjoyed my stay.

The Princeville Resort is truly Paradise

I have traveled all over the world and stayed in some of the nicest hotels. The Princeville Resort has to be right at the top. We had the junior suite with an ocean view. The room was large, elegant and had some wonderful features. The hotel itself is very grand! I would highly recommend the outdoor restaurant for breakfast or lunch. The view from the restaurant is unparalleled in all the world. We had the most exquisite view of Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay. The pool area is also amazing. Beautiful pool that seems to flow into the ocean. We also enjoyed the beach in front of the hotel and did quite a lot of snorkeling. Saw a large variety of fish. We did sightseeing in Hanalei town and also found it to be charming. Kauai and the Princeville Resort are where my heart now lives.
Stephen, Tarzana, CA

Dream Vacation with terrific service

If you are looking for a hotel of your dreams the Princeville is it. The service is outstanding. The front doorman is the most impressive hotel employee I have ever encountered in my life. He remembered our names and where we went too. The hotel room itself was great--huge! You need to see the bathroom to believe it.
Michelle, Sparks, NV

Great getaway!

The Princeville Resort was the best choice we made on our vacation. What a beautiful hotel and location. The views from our room were fantastic and the atmosphere was very romantic! Our room had a wonderful Bali Hai view and I loved the opaque window in the bathroom. There are also speakers in the bathroom, so you can listen to songs of Hawaii while relaxing in the tub. The breakfast buffet was delicious and The Living Room was a great place to hang out and take in the view (especially on the rainy day!).
Jenny, Sherman Oaks, CA

Perfect romantic getaway

This is the most romantic resort I have ever seen! The service is outstanding and the views will take your breath away. My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and fell in love with this place. The rooms are updated and very large with an amazing bathroom. They have a magic picture window that you can either have clear or frosted. This way you can see the gorgeous views while you relax in the tub or you can have your privacy. I though it was a little weird that they do not have balconies but we didn't miss it too much. The beach was beautiful and with drink and food service we didn't move a muscle! The staff was friendly and it never seemed crowded. It was the most peaceful and relaxing place I've ever been! Oh and it only sprinkled one day out of the 10 we were there. It may be a bit more wet on this side of the island, but its more green and lush. A small price to pay in my eyes.
Aubryanna, Tulsa, OK

The best views around!

The Princeville Resort offers the best views even without the lanai! I didn't know what to think when I found out most of the hotel rooms didn't have lanais, but you did not steer me wrong. Thank you Great Hawaii Vacations! PS. We loved the see thru window in the bathroom - what a great way to see the view without anyone seeing us!
Deanna, Phoenix, Arizona

Best Honeymoon Spot on Kauai!

This was the perfect place to start our honeymoon! We had a gorgeous room with a perfect view of Bali Hai and the ocean. The "magic window" in the bathroom is a nice touch, so you can see the ocean while you're getting ready to head out. The dining options were great, the hotel's location was perfect, and the beach wasn't crowded at all! We really felt like we were on vacation, especially after our massages on the beach! The concierge at the Princeville was so helpful with everything we needed. We can't wait to go back!!!

Paradise on Earth

My Husband and I were married and Honeymooned on the Island. Our visit was more than memorable and out stay at the resort took it over the top. I have traveled to many places and have seen a lot of beautiful resorts but the Marriot was definitely one of the most beautiful. When my husband and I arrived at the resort after our reception we were taken by the magnificence of the entrance and as we traveled down the escalator we were more amazed. Our suite was very elegant and our patio led straight to the beach. The people at the resort were very gracious and made us feel like we were home. We count the days when we will return to our second home!!
Jessica, Aliso Viejo, CA

It's About Time

This was a long overdue vacation for my wife and I. From the upgrade to a convertable at the airport to the ride down the escalator into the lobby at the Marriott, we were (I'm sorry) giddy! Our first night we ate at Dukes, (great food) walked in the surf after dark, and went swimming in the enormous pool before closing out the first day. The hosts were very helpful in planning our itinerary for our time there. My wife and I had great time and are looking forward to going back.
Joe and Kathy Roberts, Kirkland, WA

A Garden Paradise

The weather was perfect all week, 75-85 F. Only 1 minute of rain the whole week at the resort but plenty in the mountains. The hotel was immaculate and the staff wonderful. The only issue would be they need to replace their mattresses. The pool, beach, restaurants and opportunities were second to none. The cost of eating is a little outrageous at the hotel. $20-$40 per peron for buffets but they are very good. Must try the hula pie at Dukes. JJ's and the Mex in town were a poor choice. You can go to Tip Top in town for a local breakfast but we were disappointed. Hilo Hatis for souveniers was the same price as small stores. Wal Mart was the cheapest. There is an ABS store in town for groceries within walking distance. Definitely get a car and travel. The west coast is not much to see but the south, west and north are worth it. You can get a great car and rate at the hotel. The visit to the Marriott in PoiPu was nothing to speak of except the snorkling at PoiPu is very good. Across the street from the Marriott in PoiPu is a small plaza. Go in there for a Puka Dog, very good. Also a good place in there for a great hamburger. Since 80% of the island is mountains, take the helicopter ride. Well worth the money. Will definitely make a return trip.

Out of 5 stars, I give it 8!

It doesnt get any better than this resort. My husband and I wanted for nothing other than more time. The room was absolutely stunning, the grounds gorgeous and the aloha spirit from the employees made us very very comfortable and left us feeling as if we were royalty. You MUST book a ocean front or ocean view room. I cannot imagine coming all the way to Kauai and spending the money we did and NOT getting an ocean view. It was spectacular! We enjoyed many sunsets that are etched into my memory. Overall, the food quality at all the resort restaurants was excellent. There are two huge freshwater pools built on a lower and upper levels. Along these pools are waterfall caves, hidden jacuzzis and a very fun water slide. There is also a massive salt water lagoon that you can float or kayak in. This Resort is a must see, must stay, almost perfect resort in Poipu!

Super Nice Resort for Couples

We just returned from a 4 island (Kauai, Maui, Hawaii, Oahu) honeymoon, the Hyatt Regency Kauai Resort was definitely one of the nicest places we stayed. The grounds were far and away the most attractive of any resort we saw on any island. The Princeville Resort on the north shore may have better views (and sunsets), but we found the weather consistently better in Poipu (where the Hyatt is) than in Princeville. The Poipu Bay golf course at the Hyatt is both beatiful and challenging. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone considering it. Great for couples!

Best Experience We Ever Had

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the best hotel experience we ever had. Everything from the Luau to the tide pools, the room, views and nightly entertainment was the best ever. The staff were so nice and attentive. We couldn't of had a better honeymoon anywhere else on this planet.
Samantha, Las Vegas, NV

Vacation of a Lifetime

If you're looking for paradise - this is it. But with a price tag to match. If you're only going to do it once-it's worth it. Food is fabulous especially Tidepools, Donderas and the breakfast buffet, room-great, gardens beautiful and pools-wonderful. Luau was good but not as great as everything else. It was a vacation of a lifetime.
Sara, Clarence, NY

A Beautiful Resort

A magnificient architectural wonder set in a lush paradise. From the moment you step foot into the expansive lobby you are overwhelmed by the beauty of your surroundings. The dining is divine, the staff and are service impeccable and the landscaping is absolutely beautiful. The pools and the saltwater lagoon make for wonderfully relaxing days. Can't wait to return to paradise
Robert, San Diego, CA

A Great Vacation Spot

We loved visiting this hotel with its beautiful pool area, charming shops, and restaurants. Step into the lobby and you step into a huge garden. You'll be overwhelmed by its beauty.

On My Way Back

I am coming back on February 18, 2005 after missing you for several years. I have bragged unmercifully to my beautiful wife Rachel about your exquisite resort and absolutely cannot wait to bring her there. We have scheduled 7 nights and it won't be nearly enough! Love you Hyatt! See you soon!
Robert Nystrom, Woodsville, NH

Romantic Getaway Destination

Absolutely the best vacation and romantic getaway ever. I went with my husband of 10 yrs to recharge our batteries this past summer. I can't say enough about how warm and inviting the man-made lagoons are that wrap around the property. We are hikers and really enjoyed the walking paths out to the beautiful beach scenery. If I were to send any honeymooner or anniversary couple anywhere it would be here!
Heidi B., Arlington, TX

Paradise!

The Grand Hyatt Kauai is a the perfect place for a honeymoon. Thank you Great Hawaii Vacations for helping me pick the perfect location. The pools were awesome, the water slide was so much fun and we loved the salt water pool - it felt like we were in the ocean but it was even better! Splurge on TidePools for dinner if you can - the food is fantastic!
Rosy, , CA

Splendid

We wanted to be pampered and we chose the best resort to have that. My wife and I got away from the family and spent a relaxing week at the Grand Hyatt.... there is a good reason they call it Grand. We had at least two spa treatments each... and we slept like babies after each one. I lived on the world-class golf course and we also did most of the exciting tours on Hawaii's best island, Kauai. Mahalo to Great Hawaii Vacations for a wonderful trip.
Sale F, Vancouver, BC, BC

Loved this resort

I traveled to Hawaii twice now and I love this resort. The rooms are great and the food is great. The beach is very pretty and you can see turtles and other fish. The hotel is near a lot of black lava but you can drive to places to eat and shop that are not that far away. I found that everything was excellent. The people that work there are great and well like I said the rooms. I just got back from PLay and well the 5 star hotels there are not like this place. The water was great there but the rooms and the food was not a great as this hotel. I ate somewhere called oodles of noodles which may be closed now but is was great. I went snorkeling with my family and saw many fish. I would go back if O didn't just get back from PLaya.
Nina, Houston, Texas

10 Year Anniversary Stay

My wife and I chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt Kauai for our 10 year anniversary. We loved most everything the resort had to offer, from the gardens to the restaurants. We really enjoyed the couples massage we had at the spa on-site. Swimming at night is a big plus, as the kids aren't around. The only letdown for us was the beach out front, since the surf is very strong. The drive to Poipu Beach was short, but not as convenient as walking close by. If there was a better beach in front, I would have given this place a 5-star rating.
Robert, Poway, CA

Best Hotel on the S. Shore

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt. The place is fabulous. Terrific facilities. We especially loved the pool area. It just meanders throughout the entire complex. The service of the property can be improved. Friendly people, but a bit slow on the service. The food at some of the restaurants was not very good. Particularly dissappointed in Dondero's. Tidepools wasn't that much better either. The buffet was quite good, however. Overall, again, it was a great time had. We will surely be returning
Sue, Temple City, CA

First Class hotel

Loved the Grand Hyatt. My favorite pool of all the islands. Friendly staff ... and amazing restaurants. We had a beautiful sunset view from our room!
Pamala, Boston, ma

Can't wait until the renovations are all done

We've stayed at the Grand Hyatt many years back. We really enjoyed our stay. We understand that the hotel is undergoing some renovations right now. I cannot wait to see the improvements. We're planning to go back next year.
Denise Thomas, Oakland, CA

Most romantic place on earth

My husband and I just returned from our private getaway to the Grand Hyatt. This was our first time going there and we wanted to go there to "make a baby". We own a business and we are under so much stress all of the time. The Grand Hyatt was the perfect setting and the most romantic place we have ever been. Let's hope for the best!

Four Seasons is the best!

Thank you very much for recommending the Fours Seasons Hualalai as a honeymoon destination. We had never heard of Hualalai, but of course we knew the Four Seasons name. Now we know it by reputation. The staff is excellent and made us feel like celebrities. They were always cheerful and more than willing to answer anything from where to eat, what to do today, where to find little hideaway places, etc. I can't even describe how beautiful this resort is. I felt like I was stepping into a different time and place, paradise indeed! The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are stunning. We had a an in-room shower and 2nd outside shower. We don't play golf, but the course was so beautiful, that we are planning to take lessons so that when we come back for our 5th aniiversary (we're already planning!), we can take advantage of that feature. It was a dream vacation and we want to say "Thanks" for being a part.

Best Resort on the Planet

I give the Four Seasons Hualalai a 6 stars out of 5 rating. It is absolutely impeccable. I've traveled to top notch resorts throughout the world and this definitely rates as my all-time favorite. Thank you Great Hawaii Vacations for getting me an impressively low rate.
Taylor, Beverly Hills, CA

Fabulous!

We've stayed at some pretty nice hotels in Hawaii (Fairmont Kea Lani, Princeville Resort and the Grand Hyatt to name a few) and this was, by far, the best service we've received. Everyone was very friendly and overly accommodating. The snorkeling in King's Pond is great as it's separate from the ocean and completely calm water. A great spot for new snorkelers.

A Great Trip Had By All

A group of 10 of us recently stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach. We had a great time! The hotel has recently gone through major room renovations and our room was much more than we expected. We stayed there several years ago and thought the rooms were nice then but now they are quite deluxe with a Hawaiian ambiance. We ate at Duke?s Restaurant several times on our trip and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, good food at a reasonable rate. The beach in front of the hotel was magical. The color of the water is still in my memory. Cannot wait to return to Waikiki and the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach.

Most Beautiful and Relaxing Vacation Spot

Outrigger was wonderful, it was my first time but not my last I hope to go back soon and I would choose your hotel again!

Our holiday in Paradise

We spent a week here in October and I can honestly speak for my husband and myself and say that this is the best holiday we have been on. The hotel is fantastic, the staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious and you could not want for more. Chucks Steakhouse serve the best steaks I have ever tasted and Dukes, well what can I say, you will have to go and experience it for yourself.

Honolulu Hawaii

My husband and I have been visiting Hawaii now for the last 8 years. We go back as often as we can. We have stayed in the same hotel every time. There is so much to do there; you are literally yards from Waikiki beach. The rooms are a decent size - they get cleaned every day. You can shop till you drop, and plenty of places to eat at all affordable prices. The people are really nice and we have gotten to know some of the locals. It is not too expensive to get there and it is worth every penny.

Perfect Honeymoon Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for four nights as a part of our Honeymoon. It was perfect. Beautiful room, champagne (a complimentary honeymoon gift), friendly staff, lovely surroundings. We had a great view, and a lovely time. We ate breakfast daily in the hotels restaurant, which overlooked the ocean, and the food and service was fantastic. A beautiful hotel in a wonderful place. I hope to return some day!

Heavenly Vacation

The Outrigger on the beach at Waikiki was fabulous! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food delicious and very reasonably priced. The entertainment quite fun.I have to say the best part was going on the Outrigger catamaran for the snorkel and sail. The trip was very relaxing and fun. The staff on board were obviously highly skilled in their craft and made the adventure a most pleasant experience. I highly recomend visiting the Outrigger I can't wait to go back.

Fun Hotel!

Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is a good value. Ocean front rooms have a great view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. Fun to watch the surfers and the catamarans from your lanai. Dukes is a fun restaurant on site .. popular hangout, can be quite busy. The staff is friendly!

We will return!

We travelled to Hawaii for my son's wedding. Six friends were depending on me to choose the right hotel for us to stay in. WELL I DID GOOD! We all had such a fantastic stay we extended our time from 13 to 17 days. From Mikaela on the front desk, Mike & Susoka the concierges, our housekeeper and the wait persons we were treated like royalty. Nothing was a problem. We had an oceanfront room on the 6th floor. We had the music of Dukes entertain us if we were in our room and only had to close the doors to shut out any noise. The view was out of this world and the food was terrific. The breakfast buffet brought in people from the hotels around because it was reasonable (US$15). The omlets were delicious! The rooms were always kept clean and anything we asked for was delivered to our room, even the champagne glasses. Housekeeping left flowers in our room to congratulate us on the forthcoming wedding. The show at the hotel "SOS" was fantastic I cannot praise the hotel enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will return for a rest after our next jaunt overseas.

We liked the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower

Our entire family recently stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower. We were looking for spacious accommodations in Waikiki. We had a panoramic view of the ocean from our lanai. The condo was very large and well maintained. The front desk at the Waikiki Beach Towered offered excellent service. We also liked the location which was right across the street from the beach and surrounded by many restaurants and shops.

Our family vacationed in Hawaii for the first time this year and it was wonderful. We enjoyed every minute there!! The Aston Waikiki Beach Tower is an amazing place to stay all of the employees were so friendly and helpful! It was very nice to come home in the evening and have the beds turned down ready for us. We loved visiting the Zoo and Aquarium, along with all of the great beaches. Pearl Harbor is a must see what an amazing experience. The climb to Diamond Head is challenging but well worth the view. Dinner at the Pacific Beach Hotel was outstanding. We were there to see the feeding of the fish. (Very neat) We all had a great time. We are already planning our next vacation.

The greatest vacation I have ever had!

Where do I begin? My Husband and I were guests in the condo with our best friends. We have never been to Hawaii and our flights were terrible. But when we arrived at the condo, they greeted us at the door. We were so exhausted and they took great care of us. The condo was very clean and the laundry was changed twice a day. We recommend this to anyone. The staff is very kind and pleasant. They make you feel at home. The condo is like your home away from home. Thanks a million!

Customer Service Makes the Difference

There wasn't anything about the vacation that wasn't beautiful, or beautifully taken care of. I can't imagine us having near the vacation we did, if it wasn't for the customer service. They took specific care of our room, our rental car, and us being on time to what we had scheduled. They also gave us exceptional places to visit accompanied by directions when we didn't have something scheduled. My hat goes off to everyone from the valets to the people at the front desk. You were all absolutely amazing!!!

It's getting better all the time!

My wife and I used to bring the family here all the time, but they all grew up. This time, though, my daughter and son-in-law (and little grandson) wanted to head back to Oahu with us, and we figured we'd visit the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower again. We were pleasantly surprised that we got into one of their newly-renovated condos, and it was the best stay we've ever had there. The kitchens look so much more open, and the views are as great as I remember. The pool is still bland, but the location and proximity to the beach made up for it. We made sure to stock up our kitchen for the week, but still went out for a couple nice dinners close by. Daniel at Great Hawaii Vacations is a really great guy to work with. He helped us find better flight prices than we were able to find ourselves, and made the package deal much lower than anywhere else. If you're looking for an agent who will be your personal shopper, he's the agent to go to! Thank you again, Great Hawaii Vacations! We'll be back!

A quiet oasis

I have stayed here several times and absolutely love this property! I have stayed at other properties on business in Waikiki but whenever I get the chance I always come back here. Other hotels feels so busy and cramped all the time while the Beach Tower always is peaceful and quiet. Its amazing how you feel like you are on another island yet you have the comforts of Oahu. You can't get much better views and the condos themselves are HUGE. I have found the staff to be impeccable every time I have visited. They always greet you and are so warm and friendly no matter what you are discussing. I will forever stay at the ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Tower! I love this place!

Bad year to visit

I am sad to report that the new owners, (this is no longer an Aston Hotel), are in the process of re-modeling the place but our travel agent was not aware of this. The constant construction noise, water shut off on the second day and the stained and aging furnishings were the worst part. We were supposed to get one of the better condos but it definately is in need of repair. I would not suggest the owners attach the words luxury, exquisite, lavish, or magnificent until they have completed the construction. Otherwise, this would be a great hotel for a young family with kids or college kids who would not care about the furnishings anyway.

Best Vacation Ever

I have stayed may places over the last 62 years but this place was the best! We were right across the street from the Waikiki Beach. My granddaughter went swimming every day. We were close to shopping, dining and sights. Service was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough for you. If I ever travel again to Hawaii I would stay at the Waikiki Beach Tower condo.

Excellent service at Waikik Beach Tower

We enjoyed our stay very much. The service was excellent. We used the concierge many times for directions and they were very efficient. The apartment was very clean and the housekeeping was immaculate. We were in 1504 which unfortunately has not been recently redecorated: the kitchen is very small and somewhat musty smelling. Didn't matter to us as I don't cook on vacation. Overall the unit is a bit tired looking but we were very comfortable here. The W & D were great to have and we loved the free valet parking! The location is perfect and it is very quiet. We had some meals at hotels nearby and were very pleased with those.

Wow!

Thank you Great Hawaii Vacations, and especially to Patti Taylor for arranging our stay at the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower. We opened the door and it was "wow" look at this ... just so big and beautifully furnished and then we walked over an opened the door to the lanai and it was WOW again .. our view - we looked straight out at Waikiki Beach. We were across the street and it felt like we were right over the sand. We were so convenient to all the sites in Waikiki .. and when we wanted to go anywhere away from Waikiki the front desk was so accommodating, they had printed driving directions to everything we wanted to see!

Best accommodations yet

We just got back from our 5th trip to Hawaii and the accommodations we had at the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower were by far the best. A big thank you to Kavan, our travel agent at Great Hawaii Vacations, for recommending this fantastic condo property to us. We told him where we had recently stayed on Maui (Polo Beach Club) and he was spot on in suggesting that we would like the Beach Tower just as much. The rooms, the service, the location... everything was perfect. Can't wait for next year!

Mostly Ok view on the Waikiki Beach

I rate this condo as just standard. It does have free parking, and a short walk to the beach across the street. But it is expensive for a condo. We had good a/c and good service. The condos are classified as units 1 - 4 for each floor. All the way up to the 35th floor. The 2 bdrm units are the middle units (2 or 3) of 4 units per floor, and they are extended out 10 feet beyond the units on the right or left of units 2 or 3. The 1 bdrm are all on the outside on each end, therfore their view is blocked by each unit in 2 or 3. We were in unit 3 on the 17th floor ocean front, so unit 1703. If you are not on at least the 17th floor, even though ocean front you only see the "front view" no side views. The Waikiki Circle Hotel blocks all views in unit 4 on each floor unitl you are above the 18th floor. The Waikiki Circle Hotel blocks the view from the 4th floor pool also. It blocked part of our ocean front view to our right in 1703. If you want above the roar of the a/c units near by, I guess you need the top floors.
