We Had A Terrific Family Vacation at the Kaanapali Alii

Our family had a terrific vacation at the Kaanapali Alii this past fall. My wife, myself and our two daughters were looking for a beachfront two bedroom deluxe condo in Maui. We were recommended to the Kaanapali Alii. Our condo was exceptionally large and the furnishings reminded us of home. The people who work at the Kaanapali Alii definitely have Aloha spirit. We also enjoyed the location for our family. Our children could romp in the ocean while Margaret and myself could either hang out at the pool or have quiet time in our room. Also being right next door to the Whalers Shopping Village was a true blessing. The kids or the entire family could easily get a bite. I think my wife also like the upscale stores at the shopping center. You might want to stop in and see the fine art store located near the entrance of the shopping center on the right. They had beautiful sculpture and painting. We loved Maui and particularly the Kaanapali Alii.
Manuel, Denver, CO

Kaanapali Alii Was Perfect

My husband and I stayed at the Kaanapali Alii last December. It was the perfect spot for us. We had a one bedroom oceanview condo and loved the view, location and the beach. Henry got up every morning and had his breakfast on the lanai enjoying the ocean vistas. After a morning breakfast we walked long the boardwalk and went snorkeling at Black Rock. We even saw a few turtles. In the evenings we had many restaurants to choose from either in the various hotels that surround the Alii or in the Whaler Shopping Center. We went to Lahaina also and truly enjoyed the many quality stores. We also did activities with Barefoot Tours and saw the Warren and Annabell Magic Show. Don't miss it!

Outstanding Accomodations!

My family and I spent our first Hawaii vacation at the Ka-anapali Alii and we all agreed that when we go back to Maui we are definitely staying at the same resort again. We couldn't have dreamed of a better view, fantastic condo and fun activities. The condo was just like home. It was beautiful. The people at the resort were terrific and made us feel like royalty. A definite 5 Star rating!!! Thank you so much for the hospitality.
J. Blunck, Highlands Ranch, CO

What a great place.

My stay at the Kaanapali Alii was great. This was our first time staying at a condo resort. We liked it quite a bit. The units were incredibly spacious and the amenities were great. We stayed in a "premier" unit. Supposedly, these units have more upgraded amenities. We didn't get to check out the regular units, but from speaking to some of the people around the pool, they seem to have no issues with their units. Speaking of the pool, the Kaanapali Alii did a great job spending some money to upgrade the area. It was a pleasant surprise.
Sven Jones, San Francisco, Ca

The Kaanapali Alii is one of the best condos on Maui

Our family stayed at the Kaanapali Alii this past summer. We arrived at the front desk and they quickly checked us in. Our 1 bedroom oceanview unit was beautifully decorated and provided a very nice view of the ocean. We could tell that the owner of this condo had put some considerable thought and $$ into the condo. We enjoyed it quite a bit. We spent many days BBQing. It was great fun. I would highly recommend the Kaanapali Alii for those looking for high end accommodation on Kaanapali Beach.
Joshua Markson, Grand Rapids, MI

The Kaanapali Alii is awesome

We love all the recent improvements that the Kaanapali Alii made this year. The pool enhancements were great. We've been to the Alii on three separate occassions and each time we have not been disappointed. We always try to book the "premier" units at the Kaanapali Alii. They are simply some of the nicest units on Maui.
Craig Olson, Temple City, CA

Still the best condo on Kaanapali Beach

My wife and I love to stay at the Kaanapali Alii, and this time we wanted to treat her folks to a stay. Daniel set us up this year in one of the 2-Bedroom Oceanfront Premier units, which are the best condos in the house. Great views, gorgeous interiors, great new spa and fitness facilities...I couldn't ask for more. We've been going to the Kaanapali Alii for the last 6 years, and we've always had the best thanks to Daniel's hard work. We'll be looking forward to booking with him again for next Labor Day.
Richard L., Las Vegas, NV

My favorite getaway!

We are back from another great week on Maui. the Kaanapali Alii of course. Years ago Patti TTaylor at Great Hawaii Vacations told us about the Kaanapali Alii and we've been going every year since. And now with the new pool ... it's even better. If the "premier" unit is in the budget .. they are definetly worth the extra money. The standard units are still nice .... just not all the new fancy furnishings etc. You have Whalers Village next door and a beautiful sandy beach in front of you. Definetly heaven! thank you Great Hawaii Vacations for always taking good care of us!

Makena Surf Met Our Needs

Great Hawaii Vacations recommended the Makena Surf for my wife and myself and another couple. It was the right choice. We were seeking a upscale experience in a quiet part of Maui. Our accommodations were lovely and spacious. The beach in front of our building was perfect for us. When we did not use the beach in front of the Makena Surf we drove about 5 minutes to Wailea and swam in front of the Fairmont Kea Lani. We also shopped and dinned in the Wailea Shopping Center. We enjoyed Tommy Bahamas for several lunches. We also ate at the Kea Lani in their outdoor Italian Restaurant. The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.
Rick, Miami, FL

Had a Fantastic Time at the Makena Surf

My wife and a friend of ours stayed at the Makena Surf several years ago and had a trip of a lifetime. We stayed in Building B right in front of the beach. Words truly cannot express what a great time we had. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated condominium with lots of space to hang out with unobstructed ocean views. We also enjoyed the quiet of the Makena area. Nightly we would drive to Wailea and have dinner in one of the deluxe hotel resturants. We really liked Nicks at the Fairmont Kea Lani Hotel. We are looking forward to our planned trip back to Makena Surf next year.

The Hyatt Regency Maui is very special

Jane and I have stayed at the Hyatt Regency Maui many times during our numerous trips to Maui. We also have stayed at the other Hyatt properties in Hawaii. We keep coming back the Hyatt Regency Maui because of the beautiful ambiance of the entire property. The gardens, pools, bird sanctuaries, shops are outstanding. We also like being near the Whaler Shopping Center for convenient dining and shopping. We are planning another trip next fall back again the to Hyatt Regency.
Paul, San Francisco, CA

We had a Great Time

My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt in late Septembert. We totally loved the pool area and the quality of service. The pool area is fabulous - waterfalls/slides, caves, childrens area it really was great. No problems getting sunbeds at any time of the day. The gardens and animals were lovely. We loved to walk to Whalers Village for shopping and looking at some fantastic art galleries. We are already planning my next trip to the Hyatt.
Joe, Agoura Hills, CA

Awesome Vacation

My husband really wanted to go to Hawaii for our ten-year anniversary. We spent some time in Oahu but when we went to Maui, we stayed at the Hyatt and absolutely loved it. The pool area is great. The service was great. Nothing like sitting by the pool with fruity rum drink. The grounds are very nice with lots of gardens and animals, even penguins. There are a lot of activities. We did not have kids, but seemed like a great place for family vacations as well. We loved to watch the sunset from the beach area. The beach area is quite small, but you can walk always down to a little larger beach area. If you stay here, go to the Luau. It was nice and the food was very good. Restaurants are a little pricey but food was very good and service was exceptional. If we ever visit Hawaii again, we will definitely stay here.
Natalie, Coconut Creek, FL

25th Anniversary Get-Away

We had never experienced Hawaii before this trip. Our decision to stay at the Hyatt Regency on Maui for our 25th Anniversary was perfect. The room, shops, beach and swimming pools were unsurpassed. Being given a 10-day pass for complimentary breakfast at the absolutely magnificent indoor/outdoor restaurant with the terrific service and delicious foods was a treat we will never forget. The staff was so attentive, and helped us secure reservations for the helicopter ride, and scuba diving. A perfect 10!
Dennis Bayley, Castro Valley, CA

Major Wow!!

By far, this was the best vacation we have ever experienced. The Hyatt is so good at everything, that you can hardly believe the consistency in the service, grounds, shops, pool, food, convenience, etc.We loved the "beach", which consists of a lawn that buttresses the ocean with palm trees, recliners and beverage tables. You are as close to the ocean as you want to be, yet no sandy experience. (If you want sand, you can have it nearby.) We relaxed as we never have before. Can't imagine ever going anywhere else in Maui.
Mike O'Brien, Rowland Heights, CA

Quality/Location/Views/Fun - It's all here!

The Hyatt has the best pool area in Ka'anapali, great restaurants, and tons of activities. It was the perfect resort for our family. Plus, our deluxe ocean front room had a breathtaking view. Almost every evening you could find us on our lanai watching the sunset with a tasty cocktail in hand. Talk about paradise! One downside, the beach directly in front of the property is a bit smaller than the main parts of Ka'anapali Beach. However, this minor issue is easily remedied. If you follow the "beachwalk" no more than 3 minutes down, the beach transforms into an expansive stretch of sand and clear water. Plus, Whaler's Village and Black Rock are only a short walk away. Our entire family loved it so much that we vowed to return next year... See you there!
Brandon R., Los Feliz, CA

The Hyatt is So Beautiful!

We are very happy that Great Hawaii Vacations recommended the Hyatt on Kaanapali Beach. What wonderful views and superb service. The beach in front of the property is only good for wading but the pools are excellent. The service is also very good and we really liked the choices for restaurants that they have right at the Hyatt. Since I love to play golf, I also enjoyed the good championship-style courses across the street. Highly recommend this property to all my friends.
Chuck J, San Fancisco, CA

Great Resort

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hyatt Maui and we loved it. Our view (deluxe oceanview) was amazing, the pools were great and the lobby is beautiful. The breakfast buffet is top notch, too. The balcony off our room was a little small, but eveyrthing else was fantastic. Highly recommended.
Jim, Bourne, MA

Wonderful property!

We visited the Hyatt Regency Maui in August not knowing what to expect; needless to say, we were very impressed! From the moment we walked into the open-air lobby and saw the fantastic decor, we knew that this vacation was going to be better than any we'd had before. The talking parrots were a special touch, as was the ability to dine just steps from our room while overlooking the ocean. The pool complex was very fun, and even in the middle of busy season, there were plenty of available lounge chairs. The room was excellently furnished, and the bed was especially comfortable. All-in-all, we really loved the Hyatt Regency Maui!
Shawn C., Thousand Oaks, CA

Great Hotel

I have been to Maui many times over the years. My stay at the Hyatt was amazing. The rooms are a little small but very comfortable. A little more light in the bathrooms would be good. The pool is amazing. The grounds are amazing. I like access to the board walk the runs along the beach. The breakfast buffet has got to be one of the best I have ever had. The staff was very nice an helpful. I would recommend the Hyatt and would definitely stay there again.
Nicole Manning, Las Vegas, NV

Great Pool Area....

I recently came back from the Hyatt Regency Maui. I wanted to share my thoughts on the hotel. First of all, the service was great. Secondly, the pool facilities were amazing. My kids had a great time. They never wanted to do anything else. My only negative comment is that the rooms can use some slight renovations. I understand that the Hyatt Maui will be undergoing some room upgrades in the near future. Once they do that, I'll be happy to be back.
Roy Hobbs, Charleston, SC

The Hyatt is awesome

Our family just got back from the Hyatt Regency Maui last week. It was a great experience. Money's been a bit tight this year, but we decided to splurge and take the vacation. We hadn't had a vacation in 5 years! Surprisingly, the cost of the trip wasn't as bad as we had thought. And, we had a great time. We were upgraded to a dlx oceanfront room in the Atrium building. It was a beautiful view. It's nice to spend the little bit of extra money to stay in a resort filled with great amenities. Our kids loved the pool area. It kept them very busy. Also, being walking distance to the Whaler's Shopping Village was very nice. We hope to be back in Maui soon.
Paul Cepeda, Los Angeles, CA

A Great Time at the Hyatt Regency Maui!

My girlfriend and I were looking for a fun resort, and the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa didn't disappoint! The pools and bar were great. I especially enjoyed the swim-up Grotto Bar. We got to take our morning jog along the boardwalk, and enjoyed snorkeling at Black Rock. If you have a chance to come out to this hotel, it's a great spot. Just make sure to get a Deluxe Oceanview so you have a great view. Thank you for the great rates, Daniel! We'll be back again soon!
Randall G., Reno, NV

The Hyatt Maui was very nice

We were recommended to stay at the Hyatt Regency Maui by a friend of our's. It was a good recommendation on her end. Our family enjoyed the Hyatt Maui very much. The grounds were very nice and the pools were very good our kids. We also like the fact that it was on the main Kaanapali Boardwalk. We didn't have to drive anywhere. We hope to be returning back to the Hyatt Maui in the next few years.
Tom Brookings, Memphis, TN

Great stay!

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Maui was another great success! We love their pools, and you better bet that mommy loves to get pampered at the Anara Spa. We heard that the hotel is renovating their rooms, and we can't wait to get out there next year to see how they turned out. If you have a family or if you're a couple, you'll love the Hyatt Regency Maui! We'd like to give a big thank you to Great Hawaii Vacations for another great trip. We look forward to working with Daniel again real soon!
Kim D., New York, NY

Awesome Resort

This is one of my favorite hotels. The pools are great for all ages. The views are awesome the gardens are amazing and you can't ask for a better view from the deluxe ocean view category. You really must try the breakfast buffet, it is incredible. All the restaurants are very good and the service is great. This property is exceptional. I look forward to going back to the Hyatt for my next vacation.

Ritz Carlton Kapalua-What A Hotel!

We were recommended to Ritz Carlton Kapalua by Greathawaiivacations.com. We were not disapointed. The beauty of the area coupled with the service cannot be surpassed. We spent most of our time just drinking mai tais and hanging out in the pool. What a relaxing time...... Can't wait to go back.....

Breaking away from our norm...

My wife and I are big fans of Maui but have generally stayed in Kaanapali. We were absolutely delighted that we chose to stay at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua. We had a suite on the 8th floor with perfect views of the sunsets and the perfectly manicured grounds. The tiered pool that seemed to flow infinately into the ocean. Food and Service continually exceeded our expectations. And, we were still on Maui, able to visit many of our favorite island places. Thanks Great Hawaii Vacations for, what you have called, an excellent 'vacation in paradise.'
Mark Ritter, Brigantine, NJ

Best vacation ever!

We had a great time in Maui thanks to everyone at Great Hawaii Vacations. They really put together the best package possible and saved us a lot of money over trying to do things ourselves. Moreover, they were extremely accomodating in changing our dates without any trouble. I can't thank them enough. The Ritz-Carlton is definately my favorite hotel worldwide, hands down. Beyond the top of the line room and beautiful views, it was the concierge that really put them over the top. These guys were able to get us reservations at the busiest restaurant in town for the 4th of July, right on the beach to watch the fireworks presentation while everyone else waited hours to even get in... I still can't believe it. They also booked all of our activities and gave us recommendations for all of the best places to visit. Overall, there isnt' one thing I would change, except staying longer of course. For anyone looking to vacation in Maui, I don't think you can look anywhere else than the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua. Again, great trip, and we can't wait to see you again soon.

Heaven on Earth

My wife and I had the pleasure of a 7 day stay at the Ritz Carlton/Kapalua recently. From the well-manicured landscape, to the updated rooms, to the beautiful pool area, impeccable service, and accomadating personell, the stay was truly heaven on earth. We cannot wait to return....

A Vacation to Remember

A true fan of Maui I had never stayed in Kapalua. The Ritz Carlton Kapalua is a perfect 'piece of paradise.' We had a beautiful suite with awesome views of the property and the ocean. The staff were always professional and the food superb. We were central to many of the activies and restaurants that we enjoy on Maui, such as the Gazeebo Restaurant at Napili Shores and Kimo's in Lahaina Town. Our agent, Kavan, assured us of that we would not be disappointed with this choice and he lived up to his word. Thanks Great Hawaii Vacations and The Ritz Carlton Kapalua for a vacation to remember!
Kevin Turner, Atlanta, GA

Ritz Carlton Kapalua is nice, but.....

Don't get me wrong, the Ritz Carlton Kapalua is very nice. We stayed in one of the residential and it was more than what we expected. In that sense, we recommend it. But the shortcomings need to be discussed as well. First of all, the beach access is not very good. You need to walk over 200 yards or so to get there. Secondly, what's up with the $25 daily resort fee? We were already spending $600 plus a night. On top of that we now need to pay $25 per day? Why not just include it in the rate?
Daniel Silver, Thousand Oaks, CA

Beautiful resort!

the Ritz Carlton was just what I was looking for. I called Great Hawaii Vacations in desperate need of some RNR. I was lucky enough to talk with a sweet young lady, Patti Taylor .. she really listened to my needs. The pool at the Ritz is amazing, wonderful poolside Mai Tais. Beautiful sunsets from our lanai. I would recommend staying on the Club Level, the food in the Club lounge is heavenly. Thank you Great Hawaii Vacations, we'll be back!

Great Honeymoon Spot.

My husband and I stayed at the Westin for the last 5 nights of our honeymoon. We loved it! The rooms were so nice, from the Heavenly Bed to the oversized shower with dual shower heads, granite counter top, and jacuzzi tub. The pool was great too, and the grounds were well tended with lots of plants and flowers. Everyone (staff) was super friendly and professional. There is great snorkeling right off the beach by the hotel, and the staff at the towel/snorkel gear rental was very helpful in getting us set up with rentals and talking to us about what we saw. The poolside chairs are very comfy and you can have all the clean towels you want from the hotel for free. The resort is close to everything too, at least in West Maui. We would stay here again.
Tami, Spokane, WA

We Had A Great Time

Great room and wonderful in-room Jacuzzi. Food was only OK. There was small charge for everyday cleaning, which we requested and gladly paid. We enjoyed snorkeling and swimming with sea turtles on the shallow reef adjacent beach. We heard eerily beautiful whale songs when snorkeling. The whales were playing. On the windy days, Honolua Bay had perfect surf and Homoa beach was beautiful. Overall, we rate this resort high for excellent rooms, great beach and convenient location. However, there is room for improvement in housekeeping and services

Our Family Had A Truly GREAT Vacation

We recently went to the Westin for a five-day visit with our entire family. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. The kids really loved the swimming pools. Personally, I loved the location and the beach. Also we were able to walk to Whalers Village which is right next door for a large variety of restaurants, shops and art galleries. The four of us had a truly relaxing and wonderful vaction. I cannot wait to go back....hopefully soon.

Fantastic!

This is the finest resort ever built in West Maui. It's amazing and the villas are five star, off the charts. Beautiful beaches.
JB, Thousand Oaks, CA

Best vacation ever!

The Westin Maui was a beautiful place to vacation. The check in process was quick and simple. The grounds were lush and beautiful. Our room was updated with nice furniture and a beautiful view. I can't think of any place better to stay. I am a yearly return to Hawaii and would definitely refer all of my friends and family to go to the Westin Maui.
C. Ierardi, Burlington, MA

Disappointing

The service was good, the lobby floor lovely. After that it all fell apart. The rooms were adequate but very plain, generic and unattractive. The beach was basically unusable, very small. Plus even with a daily "resort fee" they wanted extra money to rent beach chairs and reservations for beach umbrellas. We clearly paid for that in the $25 a day resort fee. All we really got for that was parking, and a mezanine gym not much used. The restaurants and food were exhorbitant--$18 for a scanty cereal breakfast or $25 if you wanted actual food. Dinners ranged from above $30 to $45 per person. Nearby restaurants were also just about as expensive. Only option a food court next door at the upscale Whaler shopping center, where you could get mall food court sandwiches for around $10--and, oh wow, McDonald's. When I climbed down into one of the pools, my feet hit slime so hazardous on the bottom I climbed right back out. No night life at all. Everything emptied anywhere in the lobby area by 6 p.m. Just dead. Not for anyone under the age of 50 except the exhausted young couples who were there with their babies and strollers.
Kaye, Menifee, CA

we spent 5 wonderful days in Westin,it's an amazing place.Although the internet was down for last two days and there is daily charge of $25 no matter what,we still were happy, watching the pink flamingos and listening for the parrots saying"aloha".The food is very good, the sweaming pools are gorgeous, the ocean is right there-beautiful!we went to the rain forests(highly recommend this excursion!)wanted to go to see the volcanoes by private jet,but didn't expect to pay $433 per person.. There is no night life,so it's very relaxing:) I hope to come back there as soon as possible!!

My husband and I were in Paradise!!

From the moment we turned into the driveway at night with the beautiful lighting, through the lobby with the beautiful view and the sound of the waterfalls, and up in our room, my husband and I were amazed! The staff had the aloha spirit throughout the grounds of the hotel and the service was excellent. The bed was so comfortable in our room and the view (waterfalls) was great. The housekeeping ladies were so pleasant and very patient with us due to my husband's health condition. The food was great and the landscaping is so beautiful at times it was hard for me to leave the hotel for sightseeing because it provided so many things to do and just being there in this tropical environment is just heaven to me! I can't wait to bring the whole family back here and show them what a beautiful place this is. Thank you to all the hotel staff for making our one week stay the most memorable vacation we've had so far!
Chuck & Sa Singleton, Anchorage, AK

This Resort was wonderful from the start, we brought our children ages 12-14 and they were entertained the entire vacation. The many pools and waterslides were wonderful, plus being so close to the ocean and a mall within walking distance was fabulous. The staff were so incredible, they were extremely courteous and helpful. Unfortunately I became ill shortly into the trip and that's when the staff showed just how great they were. I was hospitalized for one night and when I got back I recieved a rose and card from some staff. They made me feel special and cared for. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Kavan from Great Hawaii Vacations made everything so easy, Thank you so much. We will definately be using them again to return to the Westin in Maui.
Susan Buzzell, Ellsworth, ME

Wonderful 25th Anniversary

We loved the Westin and would definitely stay here again. We celebrated our 25th Anniversary and could not have been happier. We have wonderful memories and wish we were still there. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was great. After walking along the path by the beach and looking at the near by hotels we were so happy we chose the Westin.
Laura, Bradenton, Florida

Best vacation ever!

My wife, 3 children and I went to the Westin Maui for our vacation this year. It was our first time visiting Maui and I must say that I was not disappointed. I thought the Westin Maui would be a great place to bring the family for the location, beaches, and Westin service. I was not unhappy at all when I received a complimentary upgrade! I had mentioned that it was my wife's birthday, not expecting anything, but Great Hawaii Vacations worked with their property contacts to have them take "special" care of us! What a fantastic way to start our vacation! The room was nice and clean with a fabulous view, the grounds were clean and kept and the pool was fantastic! Thank you!
Jason R., Yuma, AZ

My husband and I went to the Westin Maui for our 10th Annivesary. The views were breath-taking and the resort grounds were kept and beautiful. Thank you for referring us to a wonderful Anniversary spot. We'll return there for our 20th!

The Princeville Resort is truly Paradise

I have traveled all over the world and stayed in some of the nicest hotels. The Princeville Resort has to be right at the top. We had the junior suite with an ocean view. The room was large, elegant and had some wonderful features. The hotel itself is very grand! I would highly recommend the outdoor restaurant for breakfast or lunch. The view from the restaurant is unparalleled in all the world. We had the most exquisite view of Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay. The pool area is also amazing. Beautiful pool that seems to flow into the ocean. We also enjoyed the beach in front of the hotel and did quite a lot of snorkeling. Saw a large variety of fish. We did sightseeing in Hanalei town and also found it to be charming. Kauai and the Princeville Resort are where my heart now lives.
Stephen, Tarzana, CA

Dream Vacation with terrific service

If you are looking for a hotel of your dreams the Princeville is it. The service is outstanding. The front doorman is the most impressive hotel employee I have ever encountered in my life. He remembered our names and where we went too. The hotel room itself was great--huge! You need to see the bathroom to believe it.
Michelle, Sparks, NV

Great getaway!

The Princeville Resort was the best choice we made on our vacation. What a beautiful hotel and location. The views from our room were fantastic and the atmosphere was very romantic! Our room had a wonderful Bali Hai view and I loved the opaque window in the bathroom. There are also speakers in the bathroom, so you can listen to songs of Hawaii while relaxing in the tub. The breakfast buffet was delicious and The Living Room was a great place to hang out and take in the view (especially on the rainy day!).
Jenny, Sherman Oaks, CA

Perfect romantic getaway

This is the most romantic resort I have ever seen! The service is outstanding and the views will take your breath away. My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and fell in love with this place. The rooms are updated and very large with an amazing bathroom. They have a magic picture window that you can either have clear or frosted. This way you can see the gorgeous views while you relax in the tub or you can have your privacy. I though it was a little weird that they do not have balconies but we didn't miss it too much. The beach was beautiful and with drink and food service we didn't move a muscle! The staff was friendly and it never seemed crowded. It was the most peaceful and relaxing place I've ever been! Oh and it only sprinkled one day out of the 10 we were there. It may be a bit more wet on this side of the island, but its more green and lush. A small price to pay in my eyes.
Aubryanna, Tulsa, OK

The best views around!

The Princeville Resort offers the best views even without the lanai! I didn't know what to think when I found out most of the hotel rooms didn't have lanais, but you did not steer me wrong. Thank you Great Hawaii Vacations! PS. We loved the see thru window in the bathroom - what a great way to see the view without anyone seeing us!
Deanna, Phoenix, Arizona

Best Honeymoon Spot on Kauai!

This was the perfect place to start our honeymoon! We had a gorgeous room with a perfect view of Bali Hai and the ocean. The "magic window" in the bathroom is a nice touch, so you can see the ocean while you're getting ready to head out. The dining options were great, the hotel's location was perfect, and the beach wasn't crowded at all! We really felt like we were on vacation, especially after our massages on the beach! The concierge at the Princeville was so helpful with everything we needed. We can't wait to go back!!!

A Great Trip Had By All

A group of 10 of us recently stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach. We had a great time! The hotel has recently gone through major room renovations and our room was much more than we expected. We stayed there several years ago and thought the rooms were nice then but now they are quite deluxe with a Hawaiian ambiance. We ate at Duke?s Restaurant several times on our trip and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, good food at a reasonable rate. The beach in front of the hotel was magical. The color of the water is still in my memory. Cannot wait to return to Waikiki and the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach.

Most Beautiful and Relaxing Vacation Spot

Outrigger was wonderful, it was my first time but not my last I hope to go back soon and I would choose your hotel again!

Our holiday in Paradise

We spent a week here in October and I can honestly speak for my husband and myself and say that this is the best holiday we have been on. The hotel is fantastic, the staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious and you could not want for more. Chucks Steakhouse serve the best steaks I have ever tasted and Dukes, well what can I say, you will have to go and experience it for yourself.

Honolulu Hawaii

My husband and I have been visiting Hawaii now for the last 8 years. We go back as often as we can. We have stayed in the same hotel every time. There is so much to do there; you are literally yards from Waikiki beach. The rooms are a decent size - they get cleaned every day. You can shop till you drop, and plenty of places to eat at all affordable prices. The people are really nice and we have gotten to know some of the locals. It is not too expensive to get there and it is worth every penny.

Perfect Honeymoon Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for four nights as a part of our Honeymoon. It was perfect. Beautiful room, champagne (a complimentary honeymoon gift), friendly staff, lovely surroundings. We had a great view, and a lovely time. We ate breakfast daily in the hotels restaurant, which overlooked the ocean, and the food and service was fantastic. A beautiful hotel in a wonderful place. I hope to return some day!

Heavenly Vacation

The Outrigger on the beach at Waikiki was fabulous! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food delicious and very reasonably priced. The entertainment quite fun.I have to say the best part was going on the Outrigger catamaran for the snorkel and sail. The trip was very relaxing and fun. The staff on board were obviously highly skilled in their craft and made the adventure a most pleasant experience. I highly recomend visiting the Outrigger I can't wait to go back.

Fun Hotel!

Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is a good value. Ocean front rooms have a great view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. Fun to watch the surfers and the catamarans from your lanai. Dukes is a fun restaurant on site .. popular hangout, can be quite busy. The staff is friendly!

We will return!

We travelled to Hawaii for my son's wedding. Six friends were depending on me to choose the right hotel for us to stay in. WELL I DID GOOD! We all had such a fantastic stay we extended our time from 13 to 17 days. From Mikaela on the front desk, Mike & Susoka the concierges, our housekeeper and the wait persons we were treated like royalty. Nothing was a problem. We had an oceanfront room on the 6th floor. We had the music of Dukes entertain us if we were in our room and only had to close the doors to shut out any noise. The view was out of this world and the food was terrific. The breakfast buffet brought in people from the hotels around because it was reasonable (US$15). The omlets were delicious! The rooms were always kept clean and anything we asked for was delivered to our room, even the champagne glasses. Housekeeping left flowers in our room to congratulate us on the forthcoming wedding. The show at the hotel "SOS" was fantastic I cannot praise the hotel enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will return for a rest after our next jaunt overseas.

We liked the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower

Our entire family recently stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower. We were looking for spacious accommodations in Waikiki. We had a panoramic view of the ocean from our lanai. The condo was very large and well maintained. The front desk at the Waikiki Beach Towered offered excellent service. We also liked the location which was right across the street from the beach and surrounded by many restaurants and shops.

Best Vacation Ever

Our family vacationed in Hawaii for the first time this year and it was wonderful. We enjoyed every minute there!! The Aston Waikiki Beach Tower is an amazing place to stay all of the employees were so friendly and helpful! It was very nice to come home in the evening and have the beds turned down ready for us. We loved visiting the Zoo and Aquarium, along with all of the great beaches. Pearl Harbor is a must see what an amazing experience. The climb to Diamond Head is challenging but well worth the view. Dinner at the Pacific Beach Hotel was outstanding. We were there to see the feeding of the fish. (Very neat) We all had a great time. We are already planning our next vacation.

The greatest vacation I have ever had!

Where do I begin? My Husband and I were guests in the condo with our best friends. We have never been to Hawaii and our flights were terrible. But when we arrived at the condo, they greeted us at the door. We were so exhausted and they took great care of us. The condo was very clean and the laundry was changed twice a day. We recommend this to anyone. The staff is very kind and pleasant. They make you feel at home. The condo is like your home away from home. Thanks a million!

Customer Service Makes the Difference

There wasn't anything about the vacation that wasn't beautiful, or beautifully taken care of. I can't imagine us having near the vacation we did, if it wasn't for the customer service. They took specific care of our room, our rental car, and us being on time to what we had scheduled. They also gave us exceptional places to visit accompanied by directions when we didn't have something scheduled. My hat goes off to everyone from the valets to the people at the front desk. You were all absolutely amazing!!!

It's getting better all the time!

My wife and I used to bring the family here all the time, but they all grew up. This time, though, my daughter and son-in-law (and little grandson) wanted to head back to Oahu with us, and we figured we'd visit the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower again. We were pleasantly surprised that we got into one of their newly-renovated condos, and it was the best stay we've ever had there. The kitchens look so much more open, and the views are as great as I remember. The pool is still bland, but the location and proximity to the beach made up for it. We made sure to stock up our kitchen for the week, but still went out for a couple nice dinners close by. Daniel at Great Hawaii Vacations is a really great guy to work with. He helped us find better flight prices than we were able to find ourselves, and made the package deal much lower than anywhere else. If you're looking for an agent who will be your personal shopper, he's the agent to go to! Thank you again, Great Hawaii Vacations! We'll be back!

A quiet oasis

I have stayed here several times and absolutely love this property! I have stayed at other properties on business in Waikiki but whenever I get the chance I always come back here. Other hotels feels so busy and cramped all the time while the Beach Tower always is peaceful and quiet. Its amazing how you feel like you are on another island yet you have the comforts of Oahu. You can't get much better views and the condos themselves are HUGE. I have found the staff to be impeccable every time I have visited. They always greet you and are so warm and friendly no matter what you are discussing. I will forever stay at the ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Tower! I love this place!
Carrie, Simi Valley, CA

Bad year to visit

I am sad to report that the new owners, (this is no longer an Aston Hotel), are in the process of re-modeling the place but our travel agent was not aware of this. The constant construction noise, water shut off on the second day and the stained and aging furnishings were the worst part. We were supposed to get one of the better condos but it definately is in need of repair. I would not suggest the owners attach the words luxury, exquisite, lavish, or magnificent until they have completed the construction. Otherwise, this would be a great hotel for a young family with kids or college kids who would not care about the furnishings anyway.

Best Vacation Ever

I have stayed may places over the last 62 years but this place was the best! We were right across the street from the Waikiki Beach. My granddaughter went swimming every day. We were close to shopping, dining and sights. Service was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough for you. If I ever travel again to Hawaii I would stay at the Waikiki Beach Tower condo.

Excellent service at Waikik Beach Tower

We enjoyed our stay very much. The service was excellent. We used the concierge many times for directions and they were very efficient. The apartment was very clean and the housekeeping was immaculate. We were in 1504 which unfortunately has not been recently redecorated: the kitchen is very small and somewhat musty smelling. Didn't matter to us as I don't cook on vacation. Overall the unit is a bit tired looking but we were very comfortable here. The W & D were great to have and we loved the free valet parking! The location is perfect and it is very quiet. We had some meals at hotels nearby and were very pleased with those.

Wow!

Thank you Great Hawaii Vacations, and especially to Patti Taylor for arranging our stay at the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower. We opened the door and it was "wow" look at this ... just so big and beautifully furnished and then we walked over an opened the door to the lanai and it was WOW again .. our view - we looked straight out at Waikiki Beach. We were across the street and it felt like we were right over the sand. We were so convenient to all the sites in Waikiki .. and when we wanted to go anywhere away from Waikiki the front desk was so accommodating, they had printed driving directions to everything we wanted to see!
Paula, Glendale, California

Best accommodations yet

We just got back from our 5th trip to Hawaii and the accommodations we had at the Aston Waikiki Beach Tower were by far the best. A big thank you to Kavan, our travel agent at Great Hawaii Vacations, for recommending this fantastic condo property to us. We told him where we had recently stayed on Maui (Polo Beach Club) and he was spot on in suggesting that we would like the Beach Tower just as much. The rooms, the service, the location... everything was perfect. Can't wait for next year!
Cam, San Diego, CA

Mostly Ok view on the Waikiki Beach

I rate this condo as just standard. It does have free parking, and a short walk to the beach across the street. But it is expensive for a condo. We had good a/c and good service. The condos are classified as units 1 - 4 for each floor. All the way up to the 35th floor. The 2 bdrm units are the middle units (2 or 3) of 4 units per floor, and they are extended out 10 feet beyond the units on the right or left of units 2 or 3. The 1 bdrm are all on the outside on each end, therfore their view is blocked by each unit in 2 or 3. We were in unit 3 on the 17th floor ocean front, so unit 1703. If you are not on at least the 17th floor, even though ocean front you only see the "front view" no side views. The Waikiki Circle Hotel blocks all views in unit 4 on each floor unitl you are above the 18th floor. The Waikiki Circle Hotel blocks the view from the 4th floor pool also. It blocked part of our ocean front view to our right in 1703. If you want above the roar of the a/c units near by, I guess you need the top floors.

Polo Beach Club...What A Great Place!

Polo Beach Club .. What Great Place! My wife and stayed at the Polo Beach last year. I don't remember the number of the unit we had, but WOW, was it gorgeous. While we were there, we had an opportunity to to talk to other guests, and everyone seemed to have equally nice units. I was hesitant to spend that much money on a condo, but I was really happy with what we got. The 10 nights we were there were absolutely fabulous. This is a great property.

Paradise on Earth

My Husband and I were married and Honeymooned on the Island. Our visit was more than memorable and out stay at the resort took it over the top. I have traveled to many places and have seen a lot of beautiful resorts but the Marriot was definitely one of the most beautiful. When my husband and I arrived at the resort after our reception we were taken by the magnificence of the entrance and as we traveled down the escalator we were more amazed. Our suite was very elegant and our patio led straight to the beach. The people at the resort were very gracious and made us feel like we were home. We count the days when we will return to our second home!!
Jessica, Aliso Viejo, CA

It's About Time

This was a long overdue vacation for my wife and I. From the upgrade to a convertable at the airport to the ride down the escalator into the lobby at the Marriott, we were (I'm sorry) giddy! Our first night we ate at Dukes, (great food) walked in the surf after dark, and went swimming in the enormous pool before closing out the first day. The hosts were very helpful in planning our itinerary for our time there. My wife and I had great time and are looking forward to going back.
Joe and Kathy Roberts, Kirkland, WA

A Garden Paradise

The weather was perfect all week, 75-85 F. Only 1 minute of rain the whole week at the resort but plenty in the mountains. The hotel was immaculate and the staff wonderful. The only issue would be they need to replace their mattresses. The pool, beach, restaurants and opportunities were second to none. The cost of eating is a little outrageous at the hotel. $20-$40 per peron for buffets but they are very good. Must try the hula pie at Dukes. JJ's and the Mex in town were a poor choice. You can go to Tip Top in town for a local breakfast but we were disappointed. Hilo Hatis for souveniers was the same price as small stores. Wal Mart was the cheapest. There is an ABS store in town for groceries within walking distance. Definitely get a car and travel. The west coast is not much to see but the south, west and north are worth it. You can get a great car and rate at the hotel. The visit to the Marriott in PoiPu was nothing to speak of except the snorkling at PoiPu is very good. Across the street from the Marriott in PoiPu is a small plaza. Go in there for a Puka Dog, very good. Also a good place in there for a great hamburger. Since 80% of the island is mountains, take the helicopter ride. Well worth the money. Will definitely make a return trip.
