Oh My God!!

I decided to bring my family to the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel because I had heard that my favorite actor, Kevin Costner had stayed here some years ago while filming Water World. We were all blown away. The place is just wonderful. The service, the amenities, the beach, the rooms - everything was just top notch. I hope to return real soon. Until then, we'll have to just relive our experience through the many photos we took while we were there.

The Mauna Lani restores your soul. Kurt Matsumoto and the entire staff provide the ultimate spirit of Aloha to all aspects of the Hotel. From the sacred fish ponds to the turtles in the lagoon to the Canoe House restaurant nothing falls short of excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful. The beach is fantastic; the spa is world class. Learn watercolor
techniques from various artists daily, but the best of them all is Candace Lee. Be sure to ask for Kurt at the front desk and tell him how much you appreciate your experience, and tell him hello for Lisa and me. We will always return to our home away from home. There is no equal for the Mauna Lani experience. Come and see for yourself...you won't ever want to go
anywhere else.

Paradise Found

We were lucky enough to enjoy a week long stay with our 4 adult children at this wonderful resort. Having stayed at various high end resorts on Maui and Oahu we were more than pleased with the Mauna Lani. Everything about the resort reflects the true Hawaiian spirit...all the employees are so pleasant, the rooms beautiful, and the grounds spectacular. It was a very relaxing vacation and we hope we are able to return sometime in the near future.

Was I dreaming?

Mauna Lani Hotel on the Big Island is a fabulous place with competent, extremely helpful and friendly staff, outstanding ambiance without the stiffness or snootiness of an expensive hotel and with all of the naturalness and exquisite beauty that one should expect in Hawaii. The hotel staff is well trained and the rooms and interior and exterior areas placed and designed for incredible views and natural beauty. This hotel is a top resort in the country with the number one spa in Hawaii and has won a green award!
I just celebrated my birthday there with my husband and I can't say enough good about Mauna Lani. Thank you to all who made this a most memorable birthday.
