We would stay here again
We stayed at Kona Magic Sands for our Honeymoon because we are very frugal :-) We stayed in one of the places with a lanai. The lanai was huge and a great place to hang out and have breakfast or toast to the sunset. Our room was fine. It was modest with a pull-down bed from the wall. The bathroom could have used some updates, however, we are the kind of people who like to spend our days exploring and this place was excellent for us. As I mentioned, we bought breakfast food to prepare in the full kitchen and then threw together sandwiches for lunch and were on our way. Then before heading out to a nice dinner somewhere we'd enjoy cocktails while watching the sun go down. After dinner if we came back early there was time for playing games on the lanai, reading or writing in our journals. The beach is right next door and we snorkeled with turtles there. By the end of the week we met a few neighbors as well who were very nice. All in all, we had a great stay and would stay here again. We are from the midwest and staying here was similar to staying at a friends cabin in northern Minnesota meaning you have everything you need, things could be kept up a little bit better, but the activities and view (you can't get any closer to the ocean if you want to be lulled to sleep by it) can't be beat and make it worthwhile returning. |
