Just got back from our vacation to Hawaii and am almost too relaxed to write an e-mail, but I just wanted to take a moment to send a large "Mahalo" your way for making our trip completely hassle-free.
Everything went smoothly, from our first phone call to you to our last day on the island.
We stayed at the Casa de Emdeko in Kona. Our condo was tastefully and fully furnished, including the kitchen and bathroom. This complex is located right on the ocean, but also has 2 swimming pools, one was salt-water! And the pools were never overly crowded. The pools are a great place to meet your fellow travelers.
We tried local restaurants for the first couple of nights, but found a couple of nearby grocery stores (2 miles) and made picnic lunches for travel and barbecued in the evenings.
Our condo had central air-conditioning, which we didn't think we'd use in December, but we did for a few days and were thankful for it! We never had it on at night and we could hear the waves washing up against the rocks at shoreside.
Casa de Emdeko is an overly-large complex and we were able to meet quite a few other guests. Our last evening, we got together and made our mini-luau, complete with mai-tais.
Some of us even plan to meet here again in the future and we will be calling you, Great Hawaii Vacations, your name says it all.
