Norio's Sushi Bar & Restaurant, a favorite among guests, visitors and locals. Master sushi chef Norio Yamamoto brings such an elevated level of experience and quality to the Big Island dining scene that we named the restaurant after him.

Located adjacent to The Orchid Court Restaurant, Norio's is open seven nights a week from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The 60-seat restaurant features an eight-seat sushi bar and an 18-seat private dining room overlooking a serene koi pond.

Had a great time at the Fairmont Orchid

My wife and I had a truly terrific vacation at the Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island. I cannot say enough good things about the property. We loved our room which was spacious and well decorated. The pool was large and quite and it was easy to walk to the beach which was a few steps from the pool. We particularly enjoyed the casual restaurant by the pool. Most nights we would have a light dinner and enjoy the Hawaiian music of Dino. I also got a chance to use the gym at the property and the equipment was the best I have ever seen even in professional gyms. Also the treadmills faced the ocean for a lovely view while working out. Cannot wait to go back!

Best Vacation Experience!

When we searched for a hotel, my 6 year old's desire was to see sea turtles. Not only did she see them, she swam with them. The room was gorgeous and comfortable, the pool and lagoon were wonderful as well. The food was first class, and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Aside from donating a few golf balls to the "lava rough", we had a wonderful and relaxing time.

my wife and i had a great visit to the big island of Hawaii. the fairmont orchid is a wonderful resort. take the snorkel cruise locally. it was the best. food was good but expensive. get a car. there is a big island to explore
