Newly Renovated and Nicer Than I Remember
This was my first time back to the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel in about 8 years. A friend of mine had booked with Great Hawaii Vacations for an April trip and really enjoyed his stay, so I followed suit and booked. The room makeover was great, and tastefully redone with the Mauna Kea flair (think orange!). The beach is still wonderful, the food still great. The service was above average. I am now seeing that rates are coming down on this hotel, and I will be going back would recommend this property for any couple looking for an above average resort experience in Hawaii. |
