Hapuna Beach is a great value

Had the opportunity to finally visit Hawaii. We've been to Maui and Oahu in previous years. We enjoyed the Big Island and especially we liked the accommodations at the Hapuna Beach Prince. We were debating between the Hapuna and some of the other hotels in the area like the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel. But the other hotels were simply out of our price range. Great Hawaii Vacations got us a good package with flights and a car. We had a tremendous view of the ocean from our room and we loved the beach. We spend hours upon hours just hanging out on the beach drinking mai tais.... it was very relaxing. We loved it!

What a tremendous experience

We had the wonderul fortune of staying at the Hapuna Beach Prince. WOW!.... We stayed in a suite and was it worth every penny. This has to be one of the best hotels in the area. We just loved this. We cannot wait to come back.

AMAZING GETAWAY

This was our first time in Hawaii and we almost missed out on your beautiful resort. Our travel agent did not have a rating nor had she sent anyone there to report back. She wasn't certain if it was the place for us. But after reviewing your web site we decided it looked wonderful and made our accommodations. Wonderful does not do The Hapuna Prince justice. It was magnificent! If anyone is looking for a place that is beautiful, secluded, and very romantic yet close enough to do other activities, this is the place for you. The entire staff treated us like royalty and our room was beautiful. We toured two other islands and will return someday to Kona just because our stay at the Hapuna was like paradise.

Hapuna Beach is nice

Hi Great Hawaii Vacations.

We got back from the Hapuna Beach Prince hotel this past August 2010. I was recommended to this the hotel by one of your agents. Eric's recommendation of the hotel was very good. The information provided was quite accurate. Although the Hapuna Beach isn't the most luxurious hotel I've ever been to, it certainly did meet my needs. It appeared that all the rooms had some sort of view of the ocean. The best part of the hotel was the beach. It's gorgeous. Although, I would have liked to stay at the Fairmont Orchid, for what I was willing to pay, the Hapuna Beach met my needs perfectly like a glove. Thanks GHV. We'll be back.

Nice Place to stay

Hapuna Beach, Big Island, Is AMAZING!!!

We completely enjoyed our stay at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. From the grand reception area - open to the ocean - to the relaxing ocean view room with patio, it is exquisite. Leaving the patio doors open, we enjoyed listening to the ocean waves all night, after watching the beautiful sunsets. The hot tub and pool are easily accessible, and very nice and clean. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Upon check in, we were given chilled glasses of passion fruit juice - very refreshing after the long flight over! There is a choice of valet, outdoor, or covered parking. Even the workout facilities are filled with top-notch equipment. They definitely have you, the guest, first in mind. The hotel is impeccably clean, inside and out. There are so many things to see and do on the Big Island, so rent a car and plan for at least 7 days to see it all. The price of food at the hotel restaurant is pretty steep, so we stocked our mini fridge with food from the Kona Walmart. Aside from that, if you are looking to enjoy a perfect vacation, this is the place. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can!

Great Beach, Decent Rooms

My husband and I just stayed at the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel, after a friend of mine suggested it. The hotel rooms are decent (nothing spectacular), but the beach in front and the views are what make this place great. We had one of the Premium Oceanview rooms, and we weren't sorry for a minute. The view was gorgeous every morning, and the beach was great for play and strolls alike.

Daniel assisted us with our trip. We thought he communicated well with regard to the amenities and the overall condition of the hotel, so we weren't surprised when we arrived.

The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel is now on our list to consider for your next trip. Thanks again, Great Hawaii Vacations!

It's a good value

We stayed at the Hapuna Beach Prince this past year. We were on the Big Island for a only a few days. We liked the hotel. It's not fancy, but the rooms were comfortable, the service was good, and the beach was awesome. We may try another hotel like the Fairmont Orchid for our next trip, but we wouldn't mind staying at the Hapuna again. For what we paid, it was a good value.

Great Views and Best Beach on the Big Island

Like many of the other reviews I've read here, I've always found the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel a great value. The rooms aren't what makes this hotel great. It's the great view, the lack of crowds and the spectacular beach that makes this hotel a great option. I agree that the hotel needs a little love, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a location like this at such a great price.

Daniel did a great job of arranging our whole package for the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. He got everything we asked for, and we couldn't have been happier. We're looking forward to getting another trip planned here soon!

Peaceful hotel

Thank you Great Hawaii Vacations, especially Patti Taylor for suggesting the Hapuna Beach Prince. I was looking for for some R and R, this was the perfect resort. The rooms were very nice and the staff was so amazing. I was able to see beautiful sunsets from my lanai, and talk long strolls on the beach. I have already referred Great Hawaii Vacations to 3 friends and they have all been thrilled with their service!
