Beautifully landscaped gardens. Most of the units at Pali Ke Kua were recently rebuilt after Hurricane Iniki in 1992.

My wife and I have been to the Northshore of Kauai many times. We have stayed at most resorts on the Northshore. Our favorite condo complex is Pali Ke Kua. The views from Pali Ke Kua are the best. Our bluff front condo had the most magnificent view of "Bali Hai" and the ocean. Most of the condos are very nicely decorated. We like to stay in condo #101/201 - #126/226 for the very best views. There are several excellent beaches to choose from that are near Pali Ke Kua. There is a path between building #1 and #2 that takes you down to the most beautiful and deserted beach. Here we were able to swim and snorkel all day long. We would snorkel from the Pali Ke Kua beach to the next beach which I think is called Secret Beach. The fish are unbelievable. I would not recommend this during the winter months when the surf is high. We would then snorkel back to the Pali Ke Kau Beach. We also would walk over to the Princeville Hotel and swim and snorkel at Hanalei Bay. Also the outdoor restaurant at Cafe Hanalei at the hotel is amazing. I could go on and on about Pali Ke Kua and the Northshore but will stop. I can honestly say that the Northshore of Kauai and Pali Ke Kua are tops on my list.

The ultimate
I was sceptical, but when we walked into the condo, I was at peace. What a place, just sit back and relax for a week. I will go back, and this will be the place. A great alternative to that white castle down the hill (Princeville Hotel). If you want Concrete structures, you should visit Honolulu, but if you want relaxation, solitude, and the best views in Hawaii, Pali ki kua is the place.

RECOMADATION
What a beautiful condo. What a view! The way these are designed you sit on your patio (we were on the ground floor) and you are so private. Other guests can't see you. This is a very quiet complex. Everyone seems so considerate and tried not to take away from the relaxation and peace of the other guests. The sunsets are magnificent. Easy drive to all the fun beaches and restaurants. So much to do or you can do nothing at all. Grounds are very well maintained. Go to big resorts for dinner or drinks but then come back to your own slice of heaven. We are already planning out our next trip. Our unit was all redone and up to date and well stocked. It was a bit warm, but air conditioning would have been too noisy. The sound of the surf was much better!

Great Value
My husband surprised me with a trip to Kauai for our honeymoon. We stayed at the Pali Ke Kua resort and it was perfect for us. There was a king size bed in the master bedroom and 2 extra twin beds in a loft area. This place was in the budget of struggling college students, but did not by any means feel low-budget. There were a lot of families there, having fun. This is definitely the place to stay if you have a family. We are planning a trip with mine for next year. We traveled all around the island and decided that Princeville is by far the most beautiful place to stay.

Thank you so much for helping me book my hotel through Great Hawaii Vacations. I originally booked the Aqua Wave Hotel, and you offered a recommendation on the Resortquest Waikiki Beach Hotel. I took your advice and cannot thank you enough. The location was great, as well as the amenities & services the hotel had to offer. I would definately stay at that hotel again.
