For additional shopping, Kihei town is a short distance away from the Wailea Ekolu. Kihei offers a large selection of shops, markets, movie theaters and restaurants.

The Wailea Ekolu is 30 minutes from the main airport at Kahului, 35 minutes to Lahaina and Kaanapali.
Beach Information
Even though the condos at Wailea Ekolu are across the street from the beach (1/4 mile), it might be easier to drive to the beach. Probably a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute car ride to all the Wailea beaches. Makena and Kihei beaches are only a few minutes from your condominium.

Our family was recently in Maui. We stayed at the Wailea Ekolu. We were'nt expecting too much since we had always stayed in condos that were on the beach. However, I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the place. If you don't mind driving to the beach, this is a good location. It's still in Wailea.

Thank you so much for helping me book my hotel through Great Hawaii Vacations. I originally booked the Aqua Wave Hotel, and you offered a recommendation on the Resortquest Waikiki Beach Hotel. I took your advice and cannot thank you enough. The location was great, as well as the amenities & services the hotel had to offer. I would definately stay at that hotel again.
