At the Kahana Reef each and every unit is oceanfront with living rooms that open to a private lanai with a sweeping view of the neighbor islands of Molokai and Lanai. These fully furnished one bedroom condos are designed with complete kitchen packages, private telephones and most have king size beds.
At the Kahana Reef, you will enjoy the comfort of barbequeing by the oceanfront pool, or walking to restaurants ranging from family to fine dining.
The Kahana Reef offers the best of all worlds. Located in a serene area for relaxing, but also an easy ten minute drive to the bustling historic Whaling Village of Lahaina and the upscale resort area of Kaanapali. In Lahaina and Kaanapali there are many wonderful restaurants, shops and art galleries.

The Kahana Reef is 45 minutes form the main airport in Kahului, 10 minutes to Kaanapali, and 35 minutes to Kihei and Wailea.
Beach Information
There is a small swimming beach adjacent to the Kahana Reef. A few minutes drive to excellent swimming, strolling and snorkeling at Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay or Kaanapali Beaches.
Notes - 5 night minimum stay required at this property. 7 night minimum stay required during the holiday season.
My wife and I stayed here in February of 2004. The building is a little older and there is some very minor wear but it was clean and the furniture was in very good condition.
This IS ocean front property. The ocean was no more than 30 feet from our lanai. Close enough to watch the whales in the distance. The view is incredible and what a treat to fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
Parking spaces are good for mid to compact cars but larger vehicles will find the spaces a little tight.
I would not hesitate for a minute to return.

Thank you so much for helping me book my hotel through Great Hawaii Vacations. I originally booked the Aqua Wave Hotel, and you offered a recommendation on the Resortquest Waikiki Beach Hotel. I took your advice and cannot thank you enough. The location was great, as well as the amenities & services the hotel had to offer. I would definately stay at that hotel again.
