The AAA 3-Diamond oceanfront Aston Kona by the Sea offers spectacular oceanviews and very spacious units.
The Aston Kona by the Sea offers the best of all worlds. Situated in a peaceful area of Kailua-Kona but only a short drive to Kona town. Kona town has a large selection of restaurants and stores. Also most activities originate out of Kona town.
The Aston Kona by the Sea is situated on a rocky coastline and contains a sandy area between the pool complex and the ocean where guests can sun on lounge chairs or nap in the shade of the trees.
All condos at the Aston Kona by the Sea have at least a partial ocean view. Most of the condos have perfect oceanfront views.

The Aston Kona by the Sea is approximately 20 minutes from Kona International Airport.
Beach Information
There is only one really good beach in Kona. Kahaluu Bay is a small black sand beach with excellent snorkeling. It is located a few miles from the Aston Kona by the Sea.

I have stayed at many properties in Kona and on this trip I had the chance to stay at Kona By the Sea. Our condo was really spacious and I liked that the master bedroom had a great view of the ocean. Our condo was not so well decorated but I saw other condos that were much nicer.

Most Relaxing Place to Vacation
The Kona by the Sea offers very spacious accommodation, AC, well stocked kitchen, two bathrooms, large balcony, living room, two large screen TVs, dining area, washer and dryer very handy, beautiful view of ocean and sea life, especially the sea turtles that arrived daily to feast on the green growth on the lava. We have been here twice and plan to go again in early 2005 for at least a month! (again). We really like the relaxation, getting out occasionally for such as the Coffee Festival and being a part of local musical programs and fundraisers for kids. It's getting traffic-clogged but there's still some of that home town atmosphere that we came to appreciate 40 years ago.

Thank you so much for helping me book my hotel through Great Hawaii Vacations. I originally booked the Aqua Wave Hotel, and you offered a recommendation on the Resortquest Waikiki Beach Hotel. I took your advice and cannot thank you enough. The location was great, as well as the amenities & services the hotel had to offer. I would definately stay at that hotel again.
