The Kahana Outrigger is in a serene area of Maui. A ten minute drive to the historic Whaling Village of Lahaina and the upscale resort area of Kaanapali. In Lahaina and Kaanapali there are many wonderful restaurants, shops and art galleries.

The Kahana Outrigger is 45 minutes from the main airport at Kahului, 10 minutes from Kaanapali, and 35 minutes to Kihei and Wailea.
Beach Information
The Kahana Outrigger is a beachfront resort. The quality of the beach can fluctuate depending upon surf conditions and weather. Sometimes beach conditions are very good and other times it can be rocky. There are several excellent beaches within a 10 minute drive: Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay or the Kaanapali beaches.
Notes - 5 night minimum stay required at this property. 7 night minimum stay required during the holiday season.
It is not often that I book a place to stay sight unseen. In June our family decided last minute to take a trip. My mother in law was ill and it was her wish to take the family (5 adults and 2 preschoolers) to Hawaii. I found Great Hawaii Vacations and emailed them my requirements. At short notice (less than a month), they found me a perfect 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo on the ground floor. We loved the Kahana Outrigger and had a superb vacation.
We will return to Maui again and will likely book through Great Hawaii Vacations.

We booked our accomations via the internet. We were
celebrating our 50th anniversary. Each of our 3 children and their
spouses were celebrating their 25th anniversaries. So we went to Maui to celebrate. We were absolutely delighted with our accomadations and we will highly recommend it to others. There was nothing that we needed while there that the condo did not have. It was wonderful and we all look forward to returning someday soon.

Thank you so much for helping me book my hotel through Great Hawaii Vacations. I originally booked the Aqua Wave Hotel, and you offered a recommendation on the Resortquest Waikiki Beach Hotel. I took your advice and cannot thank you enough. The location was great, as well as the amenities & services the hotel had to offer. I would definately stay at that hotel again.
