People truly enjoy this property and come back year after year. Since it is reasonably priced many people stay at Hale Kai O Kihei for extended stays of several weeks to a month or two.
From the Hale Kai O' Kihei it is an easy walk to restaurants, shops and markets.

Hale Kai O Kihei is 25 minutes from the main airport at Kahului, 30 minutes to Lahaina and Kaanapali.
Beach Information
The beach in front of this condominium complex is swimmable, however, most of the time it is very narrow and has sea weed on it. There are many wonderful beaches to choose from in Kihei, Wailea, Makena or Sugar Beach which are only a few minutes away from Hale Kai O Kihei.
Spent two weeks at the Hale Kahi O Kihei and loved it. Great value for the money. Yes, it's an older complex but very well maintained. The view from Our third floor was fantastic! The daily shows from the whales were awsome! Great relaxing spot to venture out and see the island. Very quiet spot, not for the "partying" types....but truly wonderful. Beach was good, fantastic views, VERY well equipt condos. You need bring only your clothes! Nice small pool for cooling off on the truly hot days when you choose to just lay around by the pool or on the beach! I would return there in a heartbeat.

This was our first time to Maui. We had the time of our life. I would tell everyone to stay here. It is a wonderful place and condo. Clean, nice, peaceful and relaxing!

Staying at Hale Kai O Kihei feels more like having an ocean-front home than being a visitor. If you're looking for glitz, on-property night life, and a knock-your-socks-off first impression, this isn't for you. If you're looking for a perfectly lovely condo with everything you'll need to set up housekeeping during your vacation and a front yard that is what dreams are made of (full of palm trees and the Pacific Ocean), this is it! It's quiet, charming, relaxing and fronted with a gorgeous beach and stone fish-pond. There are swim-able beaches in either direction. On our next, and every subsequent trip to Maui, this is where we want to stay.

Thank you so much for helping me book my hotel through Great Hawaii Vacations. I originally booked the Aqua Wave Hotel, and you offered a recommendation on the Resortquest Waikiki Beach Hotel. I took your advice and cannot thank you enough. The location was great, as well as the amenities & services the hotel had to offer. I would definately stay at that hotel again.
