This is one of our favorite resorts. These low-rise condominiums reflect the charm of a Hawaiian village with sensational views of the Kona Coast. The grounds of the Outrigger Kanaloa at Kona are also very beautiful with several pools to choose from. The oceanfront pool is a real treat.
You'll find some of Hawaii's most notable historical attractions and snorkeling sites just a few minutes away from the Outrigger Kanaloa at Kona -- Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historic Park, Kealakekua Bay where Captain Cook met his end, and Kahaluu Beach Park.
Kona town is just a short drive from the Outrigger Kanaloa at Kona. Kona town offers a large choice of restaurants, stores and art galleries. Most of the activities depart from Kona town.

Beach Information
While staying at the Outrigger Kanaloa at Kona there are two beaches to enjoy in Kona: Kahaluu Bay is a small black sand beach with excellent swimming and snorkeling. Disappearing Sands Beach usually has good swimming conditions between April and October. Each beach is located a few miles from this condominium complex.

Kanaloa At Kona a nice place to stay in Kona, Hawaii.
My family recently stayed at Kanaloa at Kona. We go to Kona yearly and this was our first stay at Kanaloa at Kona. We would definitely stay there again. Beautiful grounds, nice oceanfront pool area and our condominum was very nicely decorated and spacious.

We have traveled to the Big Island four times each time staying at Kanaloa at Kona. It is paradise. Our only regret is not purchasing a unit during our first trip.

Whales Breaching
We stayed at Kanaloa At Kona on our Honeymoon. Couldn't have been any nicer. Grounds were immaculate and our view of the ocean was awe inspiring. Sunsets with the whales breaching was nice. Minutes to everywhere. For sure this is the best. Will be back

Great place to stay
We just returned from our 6 night stay at the Kanaloa at Kona. We stayed in unit 103 (2 bedroom plus loft, fairway view) and it was beautiful! It also had 2 bathrooms, plus one in the loft. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Quite luxurious. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the people were very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this resort and feel it deserves more than the average 3 stars. It is at the very least a 4 star resort. Great Hawaii Vacations was also professional and helpful in planning our vacation. We all had a wonderful time and if we ever go to Hawaii again, we will book with you! We are so thankful for everything and your prices can't be beat by any other agency!
